Abstract

Description
The purpose of this research was to evaluate the asexual reproduction of Cordia alliodora
with three types of substrates and plant growth regulators, from which data were obtained,
with the realization of a temporary greenhouse located in the “The María Experimental
Farm, extension of the UTEQ ", In which the stakes were selected and cut to 20 cm long,
these stakes were obtained at the" Finca La Represa "owned by the UTEQ. Finally,
different doses of growth hormones were applied, awaiting results, which had a total time
of 30 days. Allowing this research to determine the influence of the substrate, growth
regulators in the rooting time of young laurel cuttings.
The research entitled "asexual evaluation of Cordia alliodora (Ruiz & Pav.) Oken (White
laurel) with three types of substrates and plant growth regulators", identified that in the
sand substrate the treatment 1500 mgkg-1 ANA + 1500 mgkg-1 AIB was the one that
stood out the best, obtaining the lowest mortality rate with 10% dead and 90% alive,
therefore, in the same sand substrate, the highest number of roots was obtained, the total
average was 12 roots, with 0.24% in the total of the planted explants. It was determined
that the best substrate was sand, using the dose of hormone 1500 mgkg-1 ANA + 1500
mgkg-1 AIB.
