Abstract
Esta investigación permitió establecer la incidencia de los atractivos turísticos que tiene el sector Chipe del cantón Valencia en el desarrollo comunitario de sus habitantes. La investigación se realizó en el sector Chipe, un pequeño balneario del cantón de Valencia ubicado a 5 km de su cabecera cantonal. Este proyecto se fundamentó principalmente en: la investigación bibliográfica, la investigación de campo, la investigación estadística, la investigación descriptiva y explicativa. Se determinó la demanda del turismo del sector, y la conducta del consumidor, cuyos resultados provinieron de la encuesta a una muestra de 396 personas, aplicada a la ciudadanía de Valencia. Los métodos de investigación utilizados son el inductivo, el deductivo y el exploratorio, mediantes los cuales se pudo mejorar el estudio y nuestra capacidad analítica y de respuesta ante los interrogantes planteados. Nos permitió establecer contacto con la realidad a entender e identificar causas y efectos para poder proponer soluciones tendientes a mejorar la vida de los habitantes del sector Chipe. Mediante los resultados de esta investigación se pudo establecer que los atractivos turísticos de Chipe del cantón Valencia, aportan al desarrollo comunitario del sector generando valores económicos agregados como son: creación de fuentes de trabajo, por concepto de: servicios, de transportes, hotelerías, restaurantes y las actividades colaterales referentes al turismo. Para complementar todo esto, es necesario el apoyo de las entidades gubernamentales como el GAD Municipal de Valencia, la Prefectura de Los Ríos y el Ministerio de Turismo. Acorde a los resultados del estudio se pudo deducir la aceptación de la comunidad por la realización de un espacio para un centro turístico, en virtud de que en el cantón Valencia no existe un lugar apropiado con las comodidades que se plantea, para el esparcimiento de sus habitantes, el cual también traerá beneficios adicionales de empleo y nuevos ingresos para sus habitantes. Los resultados obtenidos apuntan a que se aproveche los atractivos turísticos de Chipe en busca del desarrollo comunitario de su gente, lo cual dará la oportunidad a nuevos negocios y empleos generando más riqueza para el sector.

This research allowed to establish the incidence of the tourist attractions that the sector Chipe of the Valencia canton in the community development of its inhabitants. The research was carried out in the sector Chipe, a small resort in the canton of Valencia located 5 km from its cantonal head. This project was mainly based on: bibliographical research, field research, statistical research, descriptive and explanatory research. We determined the demand for tourism in the sector and consumer behavior, whose results came from the survey to a sample of 396 people, applied to the citizens of Valencia. The research methods used are inductive, deductive and exploratory, through which the study could be improved and our analytical capacity and response to the questions raised. It allowed us to establish contact with reality to understand and identify causes and effects to be able to propose solutions tending to improve the life of the inhabitants of the sector Chipe. Through the results of this research it was possible to establish that the tourist attractions of Chipe of the Valencia canton contribute to the community development of the sector generating added economic values such as: creation of sources of work, for: services, transport, hotels, restaurants And collateral activities related to tourism. To complement all this, it is necessary the support of governmental entities such as the Municipal GAD of Valencia, the Prefecture of Los Ríos and the Ministry of Tourism. According to the results of the study it was possible to deduce the acceptance of the community by the realization of a space for a tourist center, in virtue that in the Valencia canton there is not an appropriate place with the comforts that arises, for the recreation of its Inhabitants, which will also bring additional employment benefits and new incomes for its inhabitants. The results obtained aim to take advantage of the tourist attractions of Chipe in search of the community development of its people, which will give the opportunity to new businesses and jobs generating more wealth for the sector.
