| dc.description | It was designed a Web System, that allows to automate the processes performed in Management Scholarship for Undergraduate Regular Students of the Quevedo State Technical University,in the Student Welfare Unit in the Social Work Area. There is a need to optimize the time and the adequacy of student information through a socioeconomic form via online, which is subjected to an evaluation by a data analysis, where the in charge of must set the parameters, indicators and variables according to the need that exists, using the points valuation method for the distribution of values. It was made the selection of beneficiaries to the types of scholarships like Economics Limited, Academic Excellence, Disability and High Performance Sports applying an appropriate mathematical model for the selection. If there falsehood in the socioeconomic profile of students be proceed to cancel the scholarship, to qualify for a scholarship is required be a regular student which has at least 60% of the selected learning unit. Is taken into consideration the academic performance of students for all the types of selection. The system was developed in platforms Netbeans 8.0.2,Postgres 9.4. and The RAD methodology was applied in the development of the system.The interview and direct observation were the techniques used for data collection, the deductive method was also used. With the development of the website, agility the scholarship management process and facilitate keeping track data management, so that it complies with the main objective of the research . | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Se Diseñó un Sistema Web, que permite automatizar los procesos que se realizan en la Gestión de Becas para Estudiantes Regulares de Pregrado de la Universidad Técnica Estatal de Quevedo, en la Unidad de Bienestar Estudiantil en el Área de Trabajo Social. Existe la necesidad de optimizar el tiempo y la suficiencia de información de los estudiantes, a través de un formulario socioeconómico vía online, el cual se somete a una evaluación mediante a un análisis de datos, donde el encargado debe configurar los parámetros, indicadores y variables que serán evaluadas asignándoles un peso de acuerdo a la necesidad que exista, aplicando el método de valuación por puntos para la repartición de los valores. Se realizó la selección de beneficiaros a los tipos de becas de Limitada Economía, Excelencia Académica, Discapacidad y Alto Rendimiento Deportivo aplicando un modelo matemático apropiado para la selección. En caso de haber falsedad en la ficha socioeconómica de los estudiantes se procede a anular la beca. Para ser beneficiario de una beca se requiere ser un estudiante regular donde al menos tenga un 60% de la unidad de aprendizaje escogida. Se toma en cuenta el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes para todos los tipos de selección. El Sistema fue desarrollado en las plataformas de Netbeans 8.0.2 y Postgres 9.4. La metodología RAD fue aplicada en el desarrollo del sistema. La entrevista y la observación directa fueron las técnicas utilizadas para la recolección de información, también se utilizó el método deductivo. Con la elaboración del sitio web, se agilita el proceso de gestión de becas llevando un control y facilitando el manejo de datos, de tal manera que se cumple con el objetivo principal de la investigación. | es_ES |
