The excessive use of antibiotics as growth promoters has raised concerns about resistance and development of microbial resistance and the consumption of contaminated meat in humans. The poultry industry investigates new alternatives and/or low-cost supplements that promote weight gain to incorporate into nutrition and natural promoters to improve health and immune response. | |
