Abstract
El presente proyecto consistió en caracterizar los sistemas agroforestales de la finca tradicional “El Rubí” del recinto Santa Rita, perteneciente al cantón Quevedo, provincia de Los Ríos. Para determinar la diversidad florística se utilizaron parámetros de abundancia, frecuencia, dominancia y el índice de valor de importancia ecológica “IVI” en conjunto con los índices de Shannon y Simpson para la estructura vertical, estructura horizontal y diversidad de las especies se recopilaron datos cualitativos de nombre común y datos dasométricos de diámetro y altura, en la finca analizada se encontraron tres sistemas agroforestales. Se registraron los árboles a partir de 10 cm de diámetro obteniendo un total de 157 individuos correspondientes a 40 especies donde Nephelium lappaceum L. presentó mayor abundancia, frecuencia, dominancia e IVI, dichas especies están dentro de 30 familias donde la más abundante fue Sapindaceae. El índice de Shannon estuvo resultó bajo para los 3 sistemas agroforestales, sin embargo, el valor más alto fue para huerto familiar (SAF 2), el índice de Simpson también estuvo bajo en los 3 sistemas, aun así, el valor más alto lo obtuvo cerca viva (SAF 1).

Description
This project consisted of characterizing the agroforestry systems of the traditional estate "El Rubí" of the Santa Rita enclosure, belonging to the canton Quevedo, province of Los Ríos. To determine floristic diversity, parameters of abundance, frequency, dominance and the ecologically important value index "IVI" were used in conjunction with the Shannon and Simpson indices for the vertical structure, horizontal structure and diversity of the species, qualitative common name data and diameter and height dasometric data were collected on the farm analyzed. Trees were recorded from 10 cm in diameter obtaining a total of 157 individuals corresponding to 40 species where Nephelium lappaceum L. presented greater abundance, frequency, dominance and IVI, these species are within 30 families where the most abundant was Sapindaceae. Shannon's index was low for the 3 agroforestry systems, however, the highest value was for family orchard (SAF 2), Simpson's index was also low in all 3 systems, yet the highest value got it close to alive (SAF 1).
