| dc.description | The objective of this research was to evaluate the quality of the teak sprout plantation in the company Tropibosques, SA located in the Balzar canton of the Guayas province. A completely randomized block design was used, where each sampling unit was in circular shape of 500 m2 with a radius of 12.62 m; located within the study area in order to avoid the edge effect, three data records were carried out at 9, 20 and 32 months, where the sampling units were established as treatments and the farms as repetitions (blocks), Through the growth parameters of the shoots (diameter, height, number of logs and straightness of the stem), an analysis of variance (ADEVA 2) was used, the quantitative variables showed significant differences between the three records, the best DBH of 0.122 m and height of 9.626 m belonged to the measurements made at the Alianza farm. According to the results obtained, the best volume of sprouts was the Alianza farm, followed by the Las Piedras farm and lastly the Hacha farm, while for costs, the establishment of a plantation by seed was evaluated, and it was compared with the maintenance costs of the shoots of T. grandis; being more profitable the management of shoots with 32% ($ 809.00), than the establishment of plantation by seed with 68% ($ 1,282.75). | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | El objetivo de esta investigación fue evaluar la calidad de la plantación de rebrotes de teca en la empresa Tropibosques, S.A. ubicada en el cantón Balzar de la provincia del Guayas, Se utilizó un diseño de bloques completamente al azar, donde cada unidad de muestreo fue en forma circular de 500 m 2 con un radio de 12,62 m; localizadas dentro del área de estudio con la finalidad de evitar el efecto de borde, se llevó a cabo tres registros de datos a los 9, 20 y 32 meses, donde, las unidades de muestreo se establecieron como tratamientos y las haciendas como repeticiones (bloques), Atreves de los parámetros de crecimiento de los rebrotes (diámetro, altura, número de trozas y rectitud de fuste), se utilizó un análisis de varianza (ADEVA 2), las variables cuantitativas mostraron diferencias significativas entre los tres registros, el mejor DAP de 0,122 m y altura de 9,626 m pertenecieron a las mediciones realizadas en la hacienda Alianza, De acuerdo con los resultados obtenidos el mejor volumen de rebrotes fue la hacienda Alianza seguido por la hacienda las Piedras y por último la hacienda Hacha, mientras que para los costos, se evaluó el establecimiento de una plantación por semilla, y se comparó con los costos de mantenimiento de los brotes de T. grandis; siendo más rentable el manejo de brotes con el 32% ($809,00), que el establecimiento de plantación por semilla con un 68% ($1 282,75). | es_ES |
