Abstract
La sala de servidores es un área muy importante para la UTEQ, ya que en ella se encuentra toda la información transcendental de esta institución, pese a ello esta área cuenta con una protección limitada. Por este motivo el presente trabajo de investigación se ha realizado con la finalidad de prevenir ciertos riesgos que pueden llegar a ocurrir en ella, y causar pérdidas o destrucción de equipos e información.
Para el desarrollo de este trabajo de investigación primeramente se creó una simulación con el software Proteus 7 Professional, a partir de esto se elaboró un prototipo del producto, y al final se concluyó con la creación del sistema de alerta basado en sensores y notificación utilizando telefonía móvil.
El sistema está compuesto por: un dispositivo que consiste en una placa de fibra de vidrio en la cual se encuentran los microcontroladores con los sensores de temperatura, humedad, movimiento y humo; un software, el cual permite monitorear el ambiente de la sala de servidores y el control de ingreso; y además se utiliza la telefonía móvil, para enviar notificaciones SMS.
De acuerdo a pruebas realizadas, determinamos que la implementación de este sistema de alerta ayuda a prevenir riesgos en la sala de servidores, ya si ocurre algún incidente, el administrador va a estar informado de lo sucedido.
Description
The room of servants is a very important area for the UTEQ, since in her is all the transcendental information of this institution, in spite of it this area counts on a limited protection. For this reason the present work of investigation has been made with the purpose of preventing certain risks that can get to happen in her, and of inflict casualties or destruction of equipment and information.
For the development of this work of investigation firstly a simulation with software Proteus 7 Professional was created, from this a prototype of the product was elaborated, and in the end it concluded with the creation of the system of alert based on sensors and notification using movable telephony.
The system is made up of: a device that consists of a fiber glass plate in which finds the microcontrollers with the sensors of temperature, humidity, movement and smoke; a software, which allows to monitorear the atmosphere of the room of servants and the control of entrance; and in addition the movable telephony is used, to send notifications SMS.
According to tests, we determined that implementation of this warning system helps prevent risks in the server room, and if an incident occurs, the administrator will be informed of what happened.
