Resumen
El agitado y cambiante entorno actual presenta un cúmulo de condiciones de operación que exigen a las empresas una mayor consideración de la auditoría como la herramienta principal para realizar una evaluación constante y profunda de sus operaciones internas en términos de verificar si las mismas cumplen con los objetivos para el cual se fundó el ente organizacional.
La auditoría operativa se realizó en la empresa agrícola Roque Mendoza, ubicada en el cantón Buena Fe, provincia Los Ríos. Considerando la solicitud de la empresa, a través del presente informe de tesis se procedió a realizar la auditoría, utilizando la metodología que describen los Boletines de Auditoría Operacional y los lineamientos básicos que proveen las Normas Internacionales de Auditoría.
Los resultados del estudio mostraron ciertos hallazgos de ineficiencias que afectaban el área (administrativa-financiera) de la empresa, generando riesgos tanto operativos como financieros para el logro de sus objetivos de comercialización. Estos resultados se discutieron para posteriormente ser consolidados en un informe de auditoría que se presentó a la Gerencia General y a los Departamentos involucrados, con recomendaciones específicas para reducir las actividades críticas o débiles que afectaban a la empresa. Por la carencia de una evaluación sistemática y analítica de la administración, agrícola Roque Mendoza presentó las deficiencias operacionales y financieras de las cuales se desconocían las causas, lo cual se llegó a determinar con el desarrollo de la auditoría. El conocimiento de los riesgos operativos y financieros a los que se enfrenta agrícola Roque Mendoza permite a la gerencia de la empresa tomar medidas preventivas o correctivas, lo cual logrará determinar en la medida que logre establecer los procedimientos e indicadores que le permitan medir su eficiencia, eficacia y economía.

The hectic, changing current environment presents a host of operating conditions requiring the companies a greater consideration of the audit as the main tool to carry out a deep and constant evaluation of its internal operations in terms of verifying if they comply with the objectives to which the organizational entity was founded.
The operational audit Roque Mendoza, located in the canton of good in the agricultural company faith, province the Rios. Consider the request of the company, through this thesis report proceeded to carry out the audit, using the methodology that describe operational audit bulletins and the basic guidelines that provide the international standards on auditing.
The results of the study showed certain findings of inefficiencies that affected the area (administrative-financial) officer for the company, generating both operational and financial risks to the achievement of marketing objectives. These results are discussed to be subsequently bound in an audit report that was presented to the General management and the departments involved, with specific recommendations to reduce the critical or weak activities affecting the company. By the lack of a systematic and analytical evaluation of administration, agricultural Roque Mendoza presented financial and operational deficiencies which were unknown causes, which was determined with the development of the audit. Knowledge of the operating and financial risks Roque Mendoza is facing agricultural allows the management of the company takes preventive or corrective, measures which will be determined to the extent that it will establish procedures and indicators that will enable it to measure their efficiency, effectiveness and economy.
