| dc.description | It realized a study of the structure of the vegetation of a tropical dry forest in the Isidro Ayora canton, Guayas province; the site is located at UTM coordinates 9770954 East and 595820 South, at an altitude of 120 meters. Were established 16 sampling units stratified of 400 m2, were taken common name, DAP, total and commercial height and cup diameter of the trees and shrubs present in the UM. It was determined the Shannon -Wiener diversity Index, Importance value, forest value index, relative sociological position and natural regeneration. 1499 trees and shrubs were recorded in different structural floors of the forest, which belong to 66 species, of which 9 species are unknown, 64 genera and 35 families, of which 3 are unknown. The most representative families of the forest "Los Pijíos" are: FABACEAE, BOMBACACEAE, EUPHORBIACEAE, MORACEAE and BIGNONIACEAE. The forest is made up of a lot of young vegetation with few mature trees where diameter class classification shows an shape of inverted J. The species with the highest IVI % in the upper stratum is Cavanillesia platanifolia (Bonpl.) Kunth. (pijio) in the middle stratum is Simira standleyi (Little) Steyerm . (colorado). The species with the highest IVF % in the upper stratum and the stratum medium is Simira standleyi (Little) Steyerm . (colorado) . It was determined that the species with more PSr % were Cynometra bauhinifolia Benth. (cocobolo) and Simira standleyi (Little) Steyerm. (colorado) . with respect to natural regeneration, the Cynometra bauhinifolia Benth. (cocobolo), has an important 3 times the Simira standleyi (Little) Steyerm (colorado). | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Se realizó un estudio de la estructura de la vegetación de un bosque muy seco tropical en el cantón Isidro Ayora, provincia del Guayas, el predio está localizado en las coordenadas UTM 595820 Este y 9770954 Sur, a una altitud de 120 msnm. Se establecieron 16 unidades de muestreo (UM) estratificadas de 400 m2, en las que se registraron el nombre común, DAP, altura total y comercial y diámetro de copa de los individuos presentes en las UM. Se determinaron índice de diversidad de Shannon- Wiener. Índice de valor de importancia (IVI%), índice de valor forestal (IVF%), posición sociológica relativa (PSr%) y regeneración natural relativa (RNr%). Se registraron 1499 individuos entre árboles y arbustos en los diferentes pisos estructurales del bosque, las cuales pertenecen a 66 especies de las cuales 9 especies son desconocidas, 64 géneros y 35 familias de las cuales 3 son desconocidas. Las familias más representativas del bosque “Los Pijíos” son: FABACEAE, BOMBACACEAE, EUPHORBIACEAE, MORACEAE y BIGNONIACEAE. El bosque está conformado por una gran cantidad de individuos jóvenes con pocos árboles maduros donde la clasificación por clase diamétrica muestra una forma de J invertida. La especie con mayor IVI% en el estrato alto es Cavanillesia platanifolia (Bonpl.) Kunth. (pijio), en el estrato medio es Simira standleyi (Little) Steyerm. (colorado). Las especie con mayor IVF% en el estrato alto y en el estrato medio es Simira standleyi (Little) Steyerm. (colorado). Se determinó que la especies con mayor PSr% fué Cynometra bauhinifolia Benth. Y Simira standleyi (Little) Steyerm. (colorado). Con respecto a la regeneración natural, el Cynometra bauhinifolia Benth. (cocobolo), tiene una importancia 3 veces mayor que el Simira standleyi (Little) Steyerm. | es_ES |
