| dc.description | The present research examines how the actions and policies implemented by the MIES influence the overall development of children in the Quevedo canton. For this, initiatives that promote child well-being are analyzed, such as access to education, adequate nutrition, medical care and emotional support. The theoretical framework was created based on the conceptual, theoretical and legal foundation of the research. Among the methods that were used are analytical, inductive and deductive and the interview and survey were used to obtain the results, for which a sample of 233 service users was obtained, the director of the MIES was interviewed. Quevedo, in turn, surveyed the personnel in charge of providing the child development service through the two programs presented by the institution such as CNH and CDI, as well as a survey of the users of the service. Where the importance of coordination between institutions and the community is highlighted to guarantee a more effective and sustainable implementation of the programs. However, there is a lack of financial and human resources, which is why it is recommended to propose possible improvements in the management of services to optimize the positive impact on children. | |
| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación examina cómo las acciones y políticas implementadas por el MIES influyen en el desarrollo global de los niños en el cantón Quevedo. Para lo cual se analizan iniciativas que promuevan el bienestar infantil, tales como acceso a la educación, nutrición adecuada, atención médica y apoyo emocional. Se realizó el marco teórico en base a la fundamentación conceptual, teórica y legal de la investigación. Dentro de los métodos que se utilizaron son el analítico, inductivo y deductivo y se utilizó la entrevista y la encuesta, en la obtención de los resultados, para lo cual se obtuvo una muestra de 233 usuarios del servicio, se entrevistó a la directora del MIES Quevedo, a su vez se encuestó al personal encargado de brindar el servicio de desarrollo infantil mediante los dos programas que presenta la institución como son CNH y CDI, al igual que una encuesta a los usuarios del servicio. Donde se destaca la importancia de la coordinación entre instituciones y la comunidad para garantizar una implementación más efectiva y sostenible de los programas. Sin embargo existe una falta de recursos financieros y humanos por ello se recomienda proponer posibles mejoras en la gestión de servicios para optimizar el impacto positivo en la infancia. | |
