Abstract
Los sistemas agroforestales asociados con cultivos de interés económico resaltan por sus
beneficios dentro del cuales se encuentra la ganancia de materia orgánica en el suelo, lo
cual da lugar a una mayor diversidad de organismos, descomponedores que facilitan la
mineralización y por ende la disponibilidad de nutrientes en el suelo lo que se refleja en el
desarrollo de las plantas, sin embargo, debido a la escasa información cuantitativa acerca
del tema el agricultor se encuentra limitado a la siembra en monocultivo
