Abstract
El objetivo principal del presente proyecto de investigación fue evaluar crecimiento inicial de plántulas de Ochroma pyramidale (Cav. ex. Lam.) Urb. O. pyramidale a nivel de vivero empleando un tratamiento pregerminativo y tres tratamientos de diferentes sustratos, La investigación se realizó en la finca Experimental ´´La María´´ se utilizó un Diseño Completamente al Azar con cuatro repeticiones, Se elaboraron tres sustratos, los cuales fueron: T1 (Control) T2 (Tierra 75% + tierra de sembrado 25%), T3 (Tierra negra 75% + compost de lechuga 25%) y T4 (Tierra negra 75% + fibra de coco 25%), se evaluó los porcentajes de sobrevivencia; además se midieron las variables altura, diámetro del tallo, número de hojas y longitud radicular de las plántulas, se realizó mediante los formularios de campo. Para el porcentaje de sobrevivencia se sembró 100 semillas para cada unidad experimental; con un total de 400 semillas de la especie en estudio y para las medidas de las variables de altura, diámetro, número de hojas y longitud radicular se consideró únicamente 10 plántulas. La investigación proporcionó los siguientes resultados: el mayor porcentaje de sobrevivencia se presentó en el sustrato T4 con el 91%, y 29,67 % respectivamente. En este mismo sustrato mismo sustrato se determinó las mayores variables promedios de altura con 19,33 cm, diámetro con 3,70 cm longitud radicular con 11,35 cm y número de hojas con 9 hojas. Así mismo, este mismo tratamiento presentó el mayor costo, con un total de USD 35,51.
Description
The main objective of the present research project was to evaluate the initial growth of Ochroma pyramidale (Cav. ex. Lam.) Urb. pyramidale seedlings at nursery level using a pre-germinative treatment and three treatments of different substrates. pyramidale at nursery level using a pre-germinative treatment and three treatments of different substrates, The research was conducted at the Experimental farm ''La Maria'' was used a Completely Randomized Design with four replications, Three substrates were developed, which were: T1 (Control) T2 (Soil 75% + sowing soil 25%), T3 (Black soil 75% + lettuce compost 25%) and T4 (Black soil 75% + coconut fiber 25%), the survival percentages were evaluated; also the variables height, stem diameter, number of leaves and root length of the seedlings were measured, it was done using the field forms. For the survival percentage, 100 seeds were sown for each experimental unit; with a total of 400 seeds of the species under study and for the measurements of the variables of height, diameter, number of leaves and root length, only 10 seedlings were considered. The research provided the following results: the highest percentage of survival was presented in the T4 substrate with 91% and 29.67% respectively. In this same substrate, the highest average variables of height (19.33 cm), diameter (3.70 cm), root length (11.35 cm) and number of leaves (9 leaves) were determined. Likewise, this same treatment presented the highest cost, with a total of USD 35.51.
