Abstract
El presente estudio tiene como objetivo analizar el efecto de diferentes mezclas de suelo y cáscara de banano en el crecimiento y producción en plantas de tomate. El experimento se llevó a cabo en condiciones controladas de invernadero, utilizando un diseño completamente al azar con 4 tratamientos y 5 repeticiones, totalizando 20 unidades experimentales, cada una compuesta por 6 plantas. Se evaluaron diversas variables, incluyendo parámetros físico-químicos del suelo, identificación de metabolitos primarios y secundarios en extractos de cáscaras de banano, altura y diámetro de la planta, días hasta la floración, y cantidad de flores y frutos cuajados.
Description
The objective of the present study was to analyze the effect of different mixtures of soil and banana peel on growth and production in tomato plants. The experiment was conducted in controlled greenhouse conditions, using a Completely Randomized Design with 4 treatments and 5 observations, totaling 20 experimental units, each composed of 6 plants. Various variables were evaluated, including physico-chemical parameters of the soil, identification of primary and secondary metabolites in banana peel extracts, plant height and diameter, days to flowering, and number of flowers and set fruits. Primary and secondary metabolites were identified in banana peel extracts, providing valuable information about their chemical composition.
