Abstract
En la investigación se realizó un análisis de la gestión de recaudación de tasas de la empresa pública de agua potable y alcantarillado, ubicada en el cantón Valencia, Provincia de los Ríos, el planteamiento del problema de la investigación fue realizada mediante la interrogante ¿Cómo incide la gestión de recaudación de tasas en la operatividad de la empresa pública de agua potable del Cantón Valencia?, para el cumplimiento de este, la investigación se enfocó mediante el objetivo general que consistió en evaluar la gestión de recaudación y su incidencia en la operatividad de la empresa pública municipal de agua en los años 2016-2018, por medio del proceso de desarrollo investigativo se recurrió a información de fuentes primarias, a través de la entrevista, la encuestas y el análisis de la información secundarias mediante los métodos inductivo, deductivo, análisis descriptivo y la síntesis con lo que se llegó a la conclusión orientada hacia las autoridades quienes son conscientes que el servicio del agua potable ha mejorado por lo tanto se deben plantear nuevas alternativas de recaudación y sobre la base de esto se recomendó a las autoridades que deben consideran la ampliación de los puntos de recaudación, a través de convenios con aliados estratégicos privados a fin de ampliar el sistema de recaudación para los clientes, lo que se traduce en una mayor recaudación que permitirá una mayor inversión para el mejoramiento de las diferentes fases operativas del sistema de distribución del líquido vital.

the investigation, an analysis of the management of collection of fees of the public drinking water and sewerage company, located in the canton of Valencia, Province of Los Ríos, the approach of the research problem was carried out by means of the question: How does it affect the management of collection of fees in the operation of the public drinking water company of the Canton of Valencia ?, for the fulfillment of this, the investigation was focused through the general objective that consisted in evaluating the collection management and its incidence in the operation of the municipal public water company in the years 2016-2018, through the research development process, information from primary sources was used, through interviews, surveys and the analysis of secondary information through inductive, deductive, descriptive analysis and synthesis with which the conclusion was reached oriented towards the authorities who are aware that e he drinking water service has improved, therefore, new collection alternatives should be considered and on the basis of this it was recommended to the authorities that they should consider expanding the collection points, through agreements with private strategic allies in order to expanding the collection system for customers, which translates into higher collection that will allow greater investment to improve the different operational phases of the vital liquid distribution system.
