| dc.description | This research was conducted in the Canton Province of Cotopaxi's Mana and lasted 120 days. Was directed to conduct a feasibility study for the increment of a Department of Tourism will work in the building of the Municipality of GAD canton La Manna. To carry out the objectives, we analyzed the benefits of the Tourism Department based on the analysis to the theories of different authors describing the benefits of tourism in different categories. Demand was analyzed based on surveys of the economically active population in which 60% of respondents said they were dissatisfied due to lack of this service, Cuale expressed the importance of implementation of the Tourism Department. The proposal presented is based on technical study proceeded to make the organizational structure of the Department of Tourism, specifying what will be the organizational structure, and preparation of manual functions Then he proceeded to perform a financial analysis, calculating the absolute value and net interest rate of return, according to these important calculations determined that it is feasible the implementation of this Department to reach a successful conclusion, it is necessary to effect the study of feasibility, and commitment of all parties, both service providers and the tourism authorities of the Canton Municipal GAD La Mana, which involves making a coordinated teamwork. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación se realizó en el cantón La Maná, Provincia de Cotopaxi, y tuvo una duración de 120 días. El análisis del problema generado por la carencia de un Departamento de Turismo en el GAD Municipal, determinó la presencia de algunos campos problemáticos que requieren de urgente intervención de las autoridades locales y nacionales, a efecto de normar y orientar la actividad turística. La formulación de los objetivos de la investigación y la hipótesis, hicieron posible direccionar todo el proceso de revisión de literatura. La metodología permitió seleccionar los tipos de investigación a aplicarse, y los métodos y técnica para la recolección de datos a la población considerada en la muestra. El estudio de mercado, sumado al estudio técnico, económico, financiero, ambiental y administrativo, determinó la viabilidad de la creación del Departamento de Turismo que funcionará en el edificio del GAD de la Municipalidad del cantón La Maná La discusión de los datos de la investigación, a más de valorar la información obtenida en la investigación de campo, los resultados se relacionaron con textos de otros autores. Para llevar a cabo los objetivos planteados, se procedió a analizar las ventajas de contar con el Departamento de Turismo en el proceso de desarrollo del potencial turístico del cantón. Se analizó la demanda en base a encuestas aplicadas a la población económicamente activa, en la que un 60% de los encuestados manifestaron estar insatisfechos por carecer de este servicio, lo cual destaca la necesidad de crear el Departamento de Turismo. | es_ES |
