Abstract
El presente experimento se llevó a cabo en la finca “Los Ángeles” de propiedad del Sr. Ing. Com. Tony Taleb, ubicada en Km. 5 de la vía Pueblo Viejo – Catarama, coordenadas geográficas de 02° 54’ 54’’ de latitud Sur y 79° 29’ 28’’ de longitud Oeste, y altitud de 12 metros sobre el nivel del mar. La duración del experimento fue de cuatro meses aproximadamente. Se planteó el objetivo general: Evaluar los efectos del empleo de fundas MAGREBAN, versus las convencionales en la protección de los frutos al daño ocasionado por plagas y enfermedades y los específicos: a) Determinar los niveles de producción de los tratamientos en estudio y b) Evaluar el rendimiento económico de cada uno de los tratamientos. Sujeto a las hipótesis: a) El nivel de producción se incrementará con uno de los tratamientos en estudio y b) Uno de los tratamientos presentará una mayor utilidad por caja en consecuencia existirá un mayor aprovechamiento del racimo. Se empleó un diseño experimental “Completamente al azar” con cuatro tratamientos y cinco repeticiones. Para determinar la diferencia estadística entre las medias de los tratamientos; se empleó la prueba de Tukey al 95% de probabilidades. El mayor grado de dedo de la segunda mano lo presentó la funda biflex de trilex, con dos corbatines en el raquis (T2), similar al T1 (Funda Magreban). En el grado de dedos de la última mano fueron superiores las fundas Magreban, (T1) y Funda biflex de trilex, con dos corbatines en el raquis (T2). El peso de los racimos y fruta, así como el peso de fruta exportable y el Ratio fueron superiores en los racimos protegidos por la funda Magreban y la Funda biflex de trilex, con dos corbatines en el raquis (T2), aún cuando estos dos tratamientos presentaron los mayores porcentajes de rechazo. Los mayores porcentajes de rechazo de fruta los presentaron las fundas Magreban y la Funda biflex de trilex, con dos corbatines en el raquis (T2), siendo su causa probable la menor cantidad de químicos presentes en la Biflex y nula en la Magreban, lo que no permitió contrarrestar efectivamente el ataque de los insectos.
