The research was carried out at the university campus "La María" of the State Technical University of Quevedo. The effect of two types of pruning (spanish pruning and dutch pruning) and phytohormones (with and without phytohormones) were evaluated.En el Ecuador, el cultivo de pimiento (Capsicum annuum L.) es una de las actividades más importantes de la producción hortícola, por lo que las prácticas de manejo son de vital importancia para mejorar la rentabilidad. El objetivo de este proyecto de investigación fue evaluar el efecto de poda y hormonas vegetales sobre el crecimiento y desarrollo del cultivo de pimiento, bajo condición de riego por goteo.
