Abstract
La aplicación de fertilizantes foliares ha demostrado traer consigo múltiples beneficios para los cultivos, mejorando la rentabilidad de los mismos. Considerando lo anterior, la presente investigación tuvo como objetivo el efecto de tres bioestimulantes orgánicos sobre el crecimiento y producción del cultivo de ají jalapeño (Capsicum annuum var. annuum) en la zona de La Maná, provincia de Cotopaxi. La investigación se llevó a cabo en terrenos de la finca “Santa Cecilia” propiedad del Sr. Pedro Villavicencio, ubicada en el km 3.2 de la vía La Maná – Quevedo. El ensayo se realizó bajo un diseño de bloques completos al azar con cuatro tratamientos en cuatro repeticiones. Los tratamientos evaluados fueron: Stimufol (1 kg/ha), Ergostim (500 cc/ha), Kelpak (1 l/ha) y un testigo sin fertilización foliar. Los resultados obtenidos demostraron que la aplicación de Stimufol (1 kg/ha), produjo una reducción de 5.50 y 9.75 días a la floración y fructificación con respecto a la no aplicación de fertilización foliar en el cultivo de ají jalapeño. Los tres bioestimulantes influenciaron significativamente el crecimiento del cultivo de ají, produciendo plantas más altas que el testigo a los 45, 60 y 75 días, destacándose Stimufol (1 kg/ha) que produjo un incremento de 3.95, 6.15 y 7.60 cm, respectivamente, con respecto al testigo sin fertilización foliar. Con Stimufol (1 kg/ha) se pudo obtener frutos de mejores características de longitud (7.45 cm), diámetro (45.25 mm) y peso (86.90 g), que en conjunto con una mayor producción de frutos por planta (28.75 frutos), desencadenó un mayor nivel de rendimiento por hectárea (44331.60 kg). Mediante la aplicación de Stimufol (1 kg/ha) se logró obtener la mayor rentabilidad con 117.06%, a un costo de tratamiento de $ 153.20.

The application of foliar fertilizers has been shown to bring multiple benefits for the crops, improving their profitability. Considering the above, the present investigation aimed at the effect of three organic biostimulants on the growth and production of the jalapeño pepper (Capsicum annuum var. Annuum) in the area of La Maná, Cotopaxi province. The investigation was carried out on land of the “Santa Cecilia” farm owned by Mr. Pedro Villavicencio, located at km 3.2 of the La Maná - Quevedo road. The trial was conducted under a randomized complete block design with four treatments in four repetitions. The treatments evaluated were: Stimufol (1 kg / ha), Ergostim (500 cc / ha), Kelpak (1 l / ha) and a control without foliar fertilization. The results obtained showed that the application of Stimufol (1 kg / ha), produced a shortening of 5.50 and 9.75 days to flowering and fruiting with respect to the non-application of foliar fertilization in the jalapeño pepper crop. The three biostimulants significantly influenced the growth of the chili pepper crop, producing plants taller than the control at 45, 60 and 75 days, highlighting Stimufol (1 kg / ha) that produced an increase of 3.95, 6.15 and 7.60 cm, respectively, with respect to the witness without foliar fertilization. With Stimufol (1 kg / ha) it was possible to obtain fruits with better characteristics of length (7.45 cm), diameter (45.25 mm) and weight (86.90 g), which together with a greater production of fruits per plant (28.75 fruits), triggered a higher level of yield per hectare (44331.60 kg). Through the application of Stimufol (1 kg / ha) the highest profitability was achieved with 117.06%, at a treatment cost of $ 153.20.
