Abstract
La presente investigación se realizó con la finalidad de evaluar la gestión del atractivo turístico de la comunidad de Cachiviro, provincia de Imbabura. Se realizó un diagnostico situacional del atractivo turístico de la comunidad, identificando los recursos turísticos tales como instalaciones turísticas, equipamiento turístico, actividades turísticas. Se determinó también el nivel de satisfacción de los turistas con los servicios y actividades turísticas que oferta la comunidad, donde se aplicaron 270 encuestas a los turistas que visitaron al atractivo turístico, dando como resultado: el 51% corresponde al género femenino, siendo la mayoría de visitantes adultos de 29 a 39 años con nivel de instrucción de tercer nivel; la mayoría de los turistas son de nacionalidad ecuatoriana, su forma de movilización es en carro propio; la forma en la que obtuvieron información de éste sitio fue a través de la promoción de boca en boca; entre las actividades que tuvieron mayor acogida fue el paseo en lancha por la laguna. En relación con las actividades e instalaciones del atractivo turístico más del 53% esta conformes con el servicio de alimentación prestado, por el contrario el 58% de los turistas dieron a conocer que en la comunidad es necesario un eficiente servició de guianza; el servicio de parqueadero tuvo un 38% de aceptación mientras que el 31% consideran que la ausencia de señalización vehicular es un problema, el 36% de los encuestados estuvieron de acuerdo con la venta de artesanías; El aspecto deteriorado de las instalaciones como del muelle flotante, de los columpio, el puente colgante y de las áreas lúdicas provoco críticas negativas, pero al mismo tiempo tienen un frecuente uso, hubieron opiniones respecto a la falta de información y señalización para actividades dentro del atractivo turístico como el kayak, senderismo, pesca deportiva entre otros. También se entrevistó al Sr. José Peña presidente de la asociación de Rey Mola Cocha, quien manifestó que sí tienen planes para mejorar y ampliar el muelle flotante, pero por falta de conocimiento para elaborar un proyecto arquitectónico, no lo han hecho; y este es el requisito pedido por la prefectura y GAD parroquial para poder presentar su apoyo en la mejora de este atractivo. Finalmente se elaboró un plan de gestión de turismo comunitario que incluye análisis del producto, factores positivos y negativos, investigación del mercado, perfil de cliente potencial, perfil del competidor, y propuesta de plan de protección de bienes y servicios del atractivo turístico de la comunidad de Cachiviro, con el fin de mejorar la imagen del atractivo hacia los turistas. The present Research was carried out in order to evaluate the management of the tourist attraction of the community of Cachiviro, province of Imbabura. A situational diagnosis of the tourist attraction of the community was carried out, identifying tourist resources such as tourist facilities, tourist equipment, tourist activities. In relation to the activities and facilities of the tourist attraction, more than 53% agree with the food service provided, on the contrary 58% of the tourists made it known that an efficient guiding service is necessary in the community; the parking service had a 38% acceptance rate, while 31% consider that the absence of vehicular signage is a problem, 36% of those surveyed agreed with the sale of handicrafts; The deteriorated appearance of the facilities such as the floating dock, the swing, the suspension bridge and the recreational areas caused negative criticism, but at the same time they have frequent use, there were opinions regarding the lack of information and signage for activities within the tourist attraction such as kayaking, hiking, sport fishing among others. Mr. José Peña, president of the Rey Mola Cocha association, was also interviewed, who stated that they do have plans to improve and expand the floating dock, but due to lack of knowledge to develop an architectural project, they have not done so; and this is the requirement requested by the prefecture and parish GAD to be able to present their support in the improvement of this attractiveness. Finally, a community tourism management plan was developed that includes product analysis, positive and negative factors, market research, potential client profile, competitor profile, and proposal for a plan for the protection of goods and services of the tourist attraction of the community.
