Abstract
La investigación sobre la propuesta de distribución en planta y mejoramiento de la
producción se efectúo en la empresa INDUHORST, la redistribución en planta se realizó
con la finalidad de mejorar los procesos productivos a su vez reduciendo tiempos de
producción. En la realización de la investigación se planteó objetivos con la finalidad de
redistribuir las áreas acorde a la línea de producción de la empresa, se elaboró la distribución
actual de las máquinas, equipos, operarios y demás materiales que intervienen en el proceso
de fabricación de la envejecedora de arroz, para dicho objetivo se efectuó diagramas de
flujo, diagrama de recorrido. La distribución actual de la empresa muestra el estado de las
maquinarias que intervienen en la fabricación de la envejecedora de arroz. Por consiguiente
se estableció el cuello de botella que genera tiempos muertos en el proceso de fabricación,
para establecer el cuello de botella se utilizó el diagrama de Pert, calculando la ruta crítica
la cual define el área de mayor tiempo en la fabricación de la envejecedora de arroz. En la
redistribución entre áreas se empleó la metodología Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) la
cual presenta un modelo sistemático que se va cumpliendo paso a paso, dando como
resultado final una redistribución que busca reordenar espacios necesarios para el
movimiento del material, equipos y de más materiales que se requieren en la fabricación de
la envejecedora de arroz.

Description
Research on the proposal for plant distribution and production improvement was carried out
at INDUHORST, plant redistribution was carried out in order to improve production
processes while reducing production times. In carrying out the research, objectives were
raised in order to redistribute the areas according to the production line of the company, the
current analysis of the machines, equipment, operators and other materials involved in the
manufacturing process of the rice ageing was made, for this purpose flow diagrams, route
diagrams and the current distribution of the company was made which shows the status of
the machinery involved in the manufacture of the rice ageing machine. Therefore, the
bottleneck that generates downtime in the manufacturing process was established, to
establish the bottleneck the pert diagram was used by calculating the critical route which
defines the area of greatest time in the manufacture of the rice ageing machine. In the
redistribution between areas, the Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) methodology was used,
which presents a systematic model that is being fulfilled step by step resulting in a
redistribution that seeks to reorder spaces necessary for the movement of material,
equipment and more materials that are required in the manufacture of the rice ageing
machine.
