Abstract
Description
In the present work we studied the agrohomeopathy, which is the use of the homeopathic method in agriculture, from which it is possible to influence the biological processes of the plant to accelerate or stop their growth. We evaluate the effect of four homeopathic tomato substances (Silicea Terra (ST), Natrum muriaticum (NM), Zincum phosphoricum (ZP) and Phosphoricum acidum (PA)) was evaluated in different dilutions (7CH and 13CH), on germination, emergence and vegetative development. The treatments were established under a completely randomly chosen design design with three replicates and two control treatments (85ºGL Ethanol and Distilled Water). The percentage and germination rate and emergency, and morphometric variables (plant height, root length, wet and dry weight) were evaluated. In the vegetative development stage variables such as stem diameter, wet and dry leaf weight, number of branches, leaves and floral buds were added. Water was supplied as irrigation, applying with 2mL drippers every 48 hours in germination, while in emergency and vegetative development was used every 24 hours with showers and atomizers to maintain moisture. Significant differences were observed in all morphometric variables evaluated. Significant differences were observed in all morphometric variables evaluated. Homeopathics had a negative influence on plants growth, and the best results for stem length were observed with ZP-7CH (55 ± 9.08 cm) in germination. The use of homeopathic ST-7CH (66 ± 10,11 cm) and ZP-7CH (59 ± 14.41 cm) showed the best results increasing the emergence of the seedlings, while PA in 7CH dilution was the best treatment in the vegetative development stage showing the highest values in LT variables (94 ± 8.31 cm), BFH (30 ± 7.72 g), BSH (2 ± 0.61 g), BFR (10 ± 6.26 g), BFT (17 ± 2.45 g) , BSR (1 ± 0.43 g) and No. Floral buds (6 ± 7.10 shoots). This research represents an advance in the sustainable management of the tomato farming. Keywords: Agricultural homeopathy, Safety, germination, emergency, Biotechnology.
