Abstract
Con el objetivo de Determinar el rendimiento y características agronómicas de ocho variedades de soya (Glycine max L.) en la zona central del Litoral ecuatoriano Se utilizó un diseño completamente al azar (DBCA) con ocho tratamientos y cuatro repeticiones. Se determinó que no existe significancia estadística para las repeticiones, ni para las variedades en estudio, la variedad que presento el valor promedio más precoz en cuanto a días a floración fue P-34 con un promedio de 40 días, El promedio de la variable altura de planta, lo mostro la variedad P-34 con un promedio de 111,25 cm, el valor promedio más alto de altura de carga del primer fruto, fue la variedad P-34 con un promedio de 22.50 cm, siendo este valor superior estadísticamente a los promedios de las demás variedades, cuyos promedios fluctuaron entre 18,00 y 9,75 cm, la variedad INIAP 307 presento el valor promedio más alto de acame con 2.75, la variedad que presento el valor promedio más precoz en cuanto a días a la cosecha fue Nidera 7643 con un promedio de 107.00 días, la variedad INIAP 307, presento los valores más altos de incidencia las tres enfermedades evaluadas: Mildiu 3.3 y Cercospora 2.7. el valor más alto de rendimiento kg ha-1 según la prueba de Tukey al 95% de probabilidades, lo mostro la variedad P-34 con un promedio de 1949,00 kg ha-1, siendo este valor igual estadísticamente igual a los promedios de las variedades Codetec 219, INOX- R, y Vinces - 2 con valores de 1934,75, 1893,00 y 1846,25 kg ha-1 respectivamente, también se determinó que el menor valor estadísticamente lo mostro la variedad Codetec – 213 con un promedio de 1357 kg ha-1. el costo más alto lo presenta la variedad P – 34 con un costo total de $ 761,09, seguido de Nidera 7636 con un costo total de $ 756,20, por otro lado el menor costo fue presentado por la variedad Codetec- 213 con un costo de $ 741,90.
