Abstract
Description
Ornamental plants currently represent a relatively unexplored field of agronomy, despite being highly profitable crops. The propagation of ornamental bamboo species (Dracaena sanderaina) in some cases is very difficult to do, this needs and growth regulators that play an important role in modifying the plant development. This research was conducted in the city of Puyo belonging to the province of Pastaza, whose geographical coordinates are 1 ° 20 'south latitude and 77 º 15' west longitude. Lasted sixty days. The treatments used in this research are: T1 = no hormone (Control), T2 = 1000 mg kg -1 of IBA, T3 = 1500 mg kg -1 of IBA and T4 = 2000 mg kg -1 of IBA. We used a completely randomized design (CRD) to determine statistical differences between means of treatments in each period is calculated using the multiple range test of Tukey at 95% probability, was also used analysis of variance. The results: At 30 days of treatment 2 (1000 mg kg-1 of IBA) with the highest number of roots and root length, with 11.80 and 2.40 cm in order, in number of outbreaks, control (without hormones) to 1.60 shoots. After 60 days of treatment 2 (1000 mg kg-1 of IBA) had the highest number of roots and root length of 10.60 and 2.20 cm respectively number of outbreaks in the control treatment had the highest number of shoots to 1.60. With regard to economic analysis, treatment 4 (2000 mg kg-1 of IBA) who got the higher costs to $ 97.33, the control treatment had the best performance with 52%.
