Abstract
Con el objetivo de Determinar la eficiencia de dos Inductores florales en el cultivo de piña (Ananas comosus L.) Variedad MD-2 en la zona de Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, se realizó un diseño completamente al azar y se aplicó la prueba de Tukey al 5 % de probabilidad, se determinó que no existió significancia estadística para las repeticiones, mientras queel tratamiento que presentó el valor promedio más alto en cuanto a porcentaje de florecimiento fue el tratamiento T1 (Carbón activado + Etileno) con un promedio de 97,77%, siendo este valor superior estadísticamente a los promedios mostrados por el tratamiento T2 (Ethefon) y el Testigo con promedios de 89,50 y 14,09%, el tratamiento que presento el valor promedio más alto de diámetro de fruta fue el tratamiento T1 (Carbón activado + Etileno) con un promedio de 12,37 cm. El promedio de la variable longitud de fruto más alto, lo mostro el tratamiento T1 (Carbón activado + Etileno) con un promedio de 15,46 cm, el valor promedio más alto de peso de corona, fue el Testigo con un promedio de 180,10cm, el promedio más alto de peso de fruta lo mostró el tratamientoT1 (Carbón activado + Etileno) con un promedio de 1412,14 g, el Testigo presento el valor promedio más alto de grados brix con 14,01, el valor promedio más alto de acidez, fue el T2 (Ethefon) con un promedio de 0,67, siendo este valor igual estadísticamente a los promedios del Testigo con 0,65 y al tratamiento T1 (Carbón activado + Etileno) con promedio de0,61. Estos valores al igual los obtenidos en la variable de grados brix, demuestra que no existe significancia en relación a los inductores de floración, el promedio más alto de rendimiento por ha lo mostró el tratamientoT1 (Carbón activado + Etileno) con un promedio de 80,42Tmsiendo este valor estadísticamente igual al promedio del tratamiento T2 (Ethefon) con74,34 Tm, siendo el Testigo el valor más bajo estadísticamente con un promedio de21,11 Tm
