| dc.description | The present research work contains very important aspects that can be applied to improve academic performance in the area of mathematics if it is possible to strengthen mathematical logical intelligence in high school students. Because mathematics is the subject in which students, both primary and secondary, present the greatest difficulties of learning and this happens practically all over the world, the present research that was carried out with students of unified general baccalaureate of the Educational Unit La Maná of La Maná canton in the province of Cotopaxi, seeks to relate the level of development of mathematical logical intelligence to the academic performance of those students. This work is based on the information obtained from specialized literature and on the application of the Upper Logic Intelligence Test that allowed to measure the degree of mathematical logical intelligence of the students that after being compared with the qualifications obtained in the first chemistry of the period 2016 - 2017, It was possible to prove with an error less than 5% stated that the results are valid and that this problem is urgent to solve it To exist, according to Gardner, eight types of intelligence that man can possess and see the world in eight different ways and know that one of them is logical intelligence mathematics, in addition to all humans have them in different degrees of intensity and That if we combine them, can help us perform different tasks or solve various problems, we realize that we are unique and able to achieve what we propose. | dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo de investigación contiene aspectos muy importantes que pueden ser aplicados para mejorar el rendimiento académico en el área de matemática si se logra fortalecer la inteligencia lógico matemática en los estudiantes de bachillerato. Por ser la matemática la asignatura en la que los estudiantes tanto de primaria como de secundaria, presentan las mayores dificultades de aprendizaje y esto ocurre prácticamente en todo el mundo, la presente investigación que se realizó con los estudiantes de bachillerato general unificado de la Unidad Educativa La Maná del cantón La Maná de la provincia de Cotopaxi, busca relacionar el nivel de desarrollo de la inteligencia lógico matemática con el rendimiento académico de los mencionados estudiantes. Este trabajo se fundamenta en la información obtenida de bibliografía especializada y en la aplicación del Test de Inteligencia Lógica Superior que permitió medir el grado de inteligencia lógico matemática de los estudiantes que luego de contrastado con las calificaciones obtenidas en el primer quimestre del periodo 2016 – 2017, se pudo demostrar con un error menor al 5% planteado que los resultados son válidos y que este problema es urgente solucionarlo Al existir, según Gardner, ocho tipos de inteligencias que el hombre puede poseer y ver al mundo de ocho maneras diferentes y saber que una de ellas es la inteligencia lógico matemática, además de que todos los seres humanos las poseemos en diferentes grados de intensidad y que si las combinamos, nos pueden ayudar a realizar diferentes labores o resolver variados problemas, nos damos cuenta de que somos únicos y capaces de alcanzar lo que nos propongamos. El propósito fundamental de este estudio es analizar e interpretar los resultados obtenidos luego de la aplicación de los instrumentos de investigación, lo cual permite llegar a conclusiones que van de acuerdo con los objetivos planteados. | es_ES |
