| dc.description | The objective of this research was to evaluate the agronomic behavior of the interclonal crosses of cacao (Theobroma cacao L.), the same one that has a line in the Experimental Farm "La Represa" located in the Faita enclosure, km 7.5 of the Vía Quevedo - San Carlos, province of Los Ríos. A completely randomized design (DCA) was used, with forty-one treatments and two repetitions. Productive variables were evaluated (number of healthy ears and yield kg / ha / year), health variables (number of diseased ears), physical quality (length of grain, width of grain, thickness of loin, thickness of the furrow, index of ear, seed index and percentage of testa), cut test (percentage of fermentation) where the almonds were classified by their characteristic and an economic analysis where the total cost was established in each of the treatments. The results indicated that the treatments T2, T34 and T33 obtained the highest productive indices as well as presented the highest costs due to the high labor demand. Within the parameters of physical quality the treatment that stood out was the T16 with the highest seed index of 1.73; while T3 indicated the highest value in spine thickness and T8 in thickness of the plow with 2.40 and 1.59 respectively. When performing the cutting test according to the INEN-176 standard, the T31 with 92.50% entered the ASSPS category, which is the highest with 85% of the total fermentation. | dc.description.abstract | Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo evaluar el comportamiento agronómico de cuarenta y un cruces interclonales de cacao (Theobroma cacao L.), la misma que se llevó a cabo en la Finca Experimental “La Represa” situada en el recinto Faita, km 7.5 de la Vía Quevedo –San Carlos, provincia de Los Ríos. Se empleó un diseño completamente al azar (DCA), con cuarenta y un tratamientos y dos repeticiones. Fueron evaluadas variables productivas (número de mazorcas sanas y rendimiento kg/ha/año), sanitarias (número de mazorcas enfermas), de calidad física (largo del grano, ancho del grano, espesor de lomo, espesor del surco, índice de mazorca, índice de semilla y porcentaje de testa), prueba de corte (porcentaje de fermentación) en donde se clasificó a las almendras por su característica y un análisis económico donde se estableció el costo total en cada uno de los tratamiento. Los resultados indicaron que los tratamientos T2, T34 y T33 obtuvieron los mayores índices productivos al igual que presentaron los mayores costos debido a la alta demanda de mano de obra. Dentro de los parámetros de calidad física el tratamiento que sobresalió fue el T16 con el mayor índice de semilla de 1.73; mientras que el T3 señaló el valor más alto en espesor de lomo y el T8 en espesor del surco con 2.40 y 1.59 respectivamente. Al realizar la prueba de corte según la norma INEN–176 el T31 con 92.50 % entro en la categoría ASSPS que es la más alta con un 85% del total de fermentación.
