| dc.description.abstract | Con el objetivo de comparar los efectos de harina de morera (Morus alba) como suplemento alimenticio en la alimentación de gallinas de campo en pastoreo, se utilizaron 96 aves de 22 semanas de edad, se empleó un diseño completamente al azar con cuatro tratamientos y cuatro repeticiones; distribuyéndolos al azar en seis aves por repetición, durante ocho semanas, las variables de repuesta fueron: peso inicial y final de las aves, consumo de alimento, producción, peso y porcentaje de producción; conversión de alimento por docena de huevos, tamaño, forma y pigmentación de huevos. Los tratamientos utilizaron 10, 20 y 30 gramos de inclusión de harina de morera (Hmo) en dietas experimentales para gallinas en pastoreo frente a una dieta control o testigo, (B, sin harina de morera). El tratamiento testigo, alcanzó las mejores respuestas en las variables productivas seguido por el T2 (140g B+10 Hmo). Las dietas experimentales mejoraron la pigmentación de yema de huevos y canal así como disminuir la grasa . En el T2; T3 y T4 se redujo el costo del alimento frente al testigo en 6, 12 y 17 USD, respectivamente. En lo concerniente al análisis económico la mejor rentabilidad la obtuvo el tratamiento testigo a pesar de que el costo del balanceado resultaba más cara que las que contenían harina | es_ES |
