| dc.description | In order to evaluate the effect of plant spacing on the agronomic performance of hybrid maize (Zea mays L.) 2B 604 in winter time near Quevedo. | dc.description.abstract | Con el objetivo de evaluar el efecto de distancia de siembra en el comportamiento agronómico del maíz (Zea mayz L.) hibrido 2B 604 en época de invierno en la zona de Quevedo.Sellevó una investigación de campo se utilizó un total de 16 parcelas y un diseño de bloques completamente al azar con 4 tratamientos y 4 repeticiones; se determinó que no existe significancia estadística para las diferentes poblacionesLos resultados indican que el tratamientoque mostro la mayor altura de planta fue el tratamiento (T1) 0,50 X 0,30 m con un promedio de 2.18m, El tratamiento que mostro la mayor altura de inserción de mazorca, fue el tratamiento (T1) 0,5 x 0,3 m, con 1.28 m, los promedios de diámetro de mazorcas, el tratamiento (T3) mostró el valor más alto con un promedio de 4,7cm, el tratamiento que mostro el mayor promedio de longitud de mazorca, fue el tratamiento (T1) 0,5 x 0,3 m, con 15,89 cm, para los promedios del peso de 100 semillas, el tratamiento (T1) 0,5 x 0,3 m mostro el valor más alto con 32,73g, se determinó que el tratamiento T1 0,5 x 0,3 m con un valor promedio de rendimiento de 8898,6 kg ha-1 siendo este valor estadísticamente igual al tratamiento T2 0,6 x 0,3 m con un promedio de 8555,2 kg ha-1, y que a su vez son superiores estadísticamente a los promedios de los tratamientos T3 0,7 x 0,3 y T4 0,9 x 0,3 con 7215,9 kg ha-1 y 7094,7 kg ha-1 el tratamiento que presento los mayores costos de inversión para la producción fue el T1 0,5 x 0,3 m con un costo de $1415,00 | es_ES |
