Abstract
La presente investigación se realizó con la finalidad de crear una propuesta un hotel
ecológico en el cantón Buena Fe, provincia de Los Ríos. La cual se ejecutó a través de
métodos de investigación y observación directa del lugar de estudio, analizando aspectos
que contribuyan al desarrollo turístico de la zona. Para la realización de los objetivos
trazados fue primordial el método de investigación de campo, por medio de este se recopilo
datos in situ los cuales permitieron realizar el diagnóstico situacional del sector hotelero del
cantón Buena Fe e identificar su infraestructura, facilidades, y demás servicios
complementarios. A través de las encuestas se determinó que el 79% de la muestra considera
que la creación de un hotel ecológico impulsaría el turismo del cantón Buena Fe,
promoviendo a su vez el respeto al medio ambiente como lo indican los datos, con un 82%
los encuestados mencionaron que se alojarían en un lugar que sea responsable con la
naturaleza.

Description
This research was carried out with the purpose of creating a proposal for an ecological hotel
in the canton of Buena Fe, province of Los Ríos. It was carried out through research methods
and direct observation of the study site, analyzing aspects that contribute to tourism
development in the area. In order to achieve the objectives outlined, the field research
method was essential. Through this method, on-site data was collected, which allowed for a
situational diagnosis of the hotel sector in the Buena Fe canton and the identification of its
infrastructure, facilities and other complementary services. Through the surveys it was
determined that 79% of the sample considers that the creation of an ecological hotel would
boost tourism in Buena Fe, promoting respect for the environment as indicated by the data,
with 82% of the respondents mentioning that they would stay in a place that is responsible
with nature.
