| dc.description | This research was conducted in the ownership of Mr. Cesar Herrera, located at Km 9 via Quevedo the splice enclosure San Luis, Canton Mocache Rivers Province, whose location is 1 ° 3'50 .5'' south latitude, 79 º 31 ' 34'' west longitude and 79 meters. The work was to evaluate the agronomic performance of maize (Zea Mays) Tiametoxam using treated seed. We tested the following treatment: large flat corn T1 (PG), witness; T2 large flat corn (PG) + Thiodicarb, large flat corn T3 (PG) + Tiametoxam, large flat corn T4 (PG) + Thiodicarb) + Tiametoxam; T5 Corn Ball girl (BCH) control; Corn Ball girl (BCH) + Thiodicarb; T7 Corn Ball girl (BCH) + Tiametoxam; T8 Corn Ball girl (BCH) + Thiodicarb) + Tiametoxam. Experimental design was used "Randomized Complete" (DCA) with factorial arrangement of 2 x 4 to 8 treatments, 4 replications. From planting Emergency evaluated, plant height, stem diameter, at harvest, were evaluated number of harvested plants, number of ears harvested number of healthy ears. Number of diseased pods, weight of ears, gopher weight, weight of 100 grains, Performance, and applied the Tukey test at 95% probability to determine the statistical difference between treatment means. The emergence of the seed evaluated at 3, 6 and 9 after sowing and determined that there was no statistical difference between treatments, with the coefficient of variation 7.97; 6.53 and 6.38% respectively. The plant height were assessed at 15, 30, 45 and 60 days after planting, there were no statistically significant differences between treatments, with the coefficient of variation 6.78; 5.12, 3.36 and 3.09% respectively. Stem diameters were evaluated at 15, 30, 45 and 60 days after planting were not statistically significant differences between treatments with the coefficient of variation 8.87; 4.39, 2.58 and 3.53% respectively. The mean number of harvested plants, moisture corn harvested and found no statistically significant differences between treatments, with the coefficient of variation 8.20; 7.83 and 2.24% respectively The average weight of 100 seeds, total weight, grain weight and weight gopher determined that there were no statistically significant differences between treatments, with the coefficient of variation 14.93; 11.63, 11.99 and 11.11% respectively. | dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación se realizó, en la propiedad del Sr. César Herrera, localizada en el Km 9 vía Quevedo el Empalme, recinto San Luís, Cantón Mocache Provincia de los Ríos, cuya situación geográfica es 1º3’50.5’’ latitud sur, 79º31’34’’ longitud occidental y 79 msnm. El trabajo consistió en evaluar el comportamiento agronómico del cultivo de maíz (Zea Mays) usando semilla tratada con Tiametoxam. Se probaron los siguientes tratamiento: T1 maíz plana grande (PG), testigo; T2 maíz plana grande (PG)+ thiodicarb; T3 maíz plana grande (PG)+ Tiametoxam; T4 maíz plana grande (PG)+ thiodicarb)+ tiametoxam; T5 Maíz Bola chica (BCH) testigo; Maíz Bola chica (BCH)+ thiodicarb; T7 Maíz Bola chica (BCH)+ Tiametoxam; T8 Maíz Bola chica (BCH) + thiodicarb)+ tiametoxam. Se empleó un diseño experimental “Completos al Azar” (DCA), con arreglo factorial de 2 x 4 con 8 tratamientos, 4 repeticiones. A partir de la siembra se evaluaron la Emergencia, Altura de planta, Diámetro de tallo; en la cosecha, se evaluaron Número de plantas cosechadas, Número de mazorcas cosechadas, Número de mazorcas sanas. Número de mazorcas enfermas, Peso de mazorcas, Peso de tuza, Peso de 100 granos, Rendimiento, y se aplicó la prueba de Tukey al 95% de probabilidad para determinar la diferencia estadística entre las medias de los tratamientos. La emergencia de la semilla evaluadas a los 3, 6 y 9 días después de la siembra y se determinó que no hubo diferencia estadística entre los tratamientos; siendo el coeficiente de variación 7.97; 6.53 y 6.38% respectivamente. La altura de planta fue evaluada a los 15, 30, 45 y 60 días después de la siembra, no se encontraron diferencias estadísticas significativas entre los tratamientos; siendo el coeficiente de variación 6.78; 5.12, 3.36 y 3.09% respectivamente. El diámetro de tallo fue evaluada a los 15, 30, 45 y 60 días después de la siembra, no se encontraron diferencias estadísticas significativas entre los tratamientos; siendo el coeficiente de variación 8.87; 4.39, 2.58 y 3.53% respectivamente. Los promedios de número de plantas cosechadas, mazorcas cosechadas y humedad xiii no se encontraron diferencias estadísticas significativas entre los tratamientos; siendo el coeficiente de variación 8.20; 7.83 y 2.24% respectivamente. Los promedios de peso de 100 semillas, peso total, peso grano y peso tuza determinó que no se encontraron diferencias estadísticas significativas entre los tratamientos; siendo el coeficiente de variación 14.93; 11.63, 11.99 y 11.11% respectivamente. Los promedios de la variables rendimiento/ha, en (qq/ha) donde no reflejan diferencias significativas encontraron diferencias estadísticas significativas entre los tratamientos; siendo el coeficiente de variación 11.66%. La relación beneficio/costo fluctuó entre 0.93 y 0.94 correspondiente a todos los tratamientos. El tratamiento de mayor rendimiento fue el T4 maíz plana grande (PG) +thiod+tiam con 0.94 | es_ES |
