Abstract
La presente investigación se realizó en el Colegio Técnico Agropecuario “Pueblo Nuevo”, perteneciente a la parroquia La Guayas, cantón El Empalme, Se encuentra entre las coordenadas geográficas 01° 06´ de latitud sur y 79° 29 de longitud oeste a una altura de 73 msnm. La duración del trabajo fue de 120 días.
Para el desarrollo se estableció un Diseño de Bloques Completos al Azar (DBCA), con siete tratamientos y cuatro repeticiones. Para la determinación de la medias se recurrió al uso de la prueba de Rangos Múltiples de Tukey al 95% de probabilidad. Dos tipos de abonos fueron tomados como tratamientos en diferentes dosis, en donde el tratamiento que mejor altura de planta obtuvo fue el T6 que se aplicó Dunger 5 kg, con valores de 48,38 cm a los 45 días, además de obtener un peso significativo de 2103,75 kg, influyendo positivamente en la produccion de acelga, de acuerdo al análisis estadístico el tratamiento T2 con inclusión de Humus 3 kg, fue el tratamiento que presentó mayor número de hojas a la cosecha con un promedio de 5,92 hojas, no existiendo diferencias estadísticas con los demás tratamientos.
El tratamiento que brindo mejores resultados en la relación beneficio/costo fue el T2 (Humus 3 kg) ya que por cada dólar invertido se observó una ganancia de $0,50.

This research was conducted at the Agricultural Technical College "Pueblo Nuevo", belonging to the parish The Guayas, Canton El Empalme, is located between the geographical coordinates of 01 ° 06' south latitude and 79 ° 29 west longitude at an altitude of 73 meters. Working time was 120 days.

The treatment I provide better results in the benefit / cost was the T2 (Humus 3 kg) and that for every dollar invested a profit of $ 0.50 was observed.
