| dc.description | The present research project was established with the objective of estimating the losses of N by volatilization and leaching, being one of the most important elements in the nutrition of the rice crop (Oryza sativa L). The doses of nitrogen and the type of soil are elementary factors within the N losses, due to the mobility that this element presents in the different surfaces, it is advisable to isolate the parcels to be evaluated. The objective of the present research project was to establish the nitrogen balance in rice cultivation in the soils of the Babahoyo and Quevedo cantons, which allow improving the dosages of the element, positively reducing environmental pollution. The evaluation was carried out in the parish of San Cristóbal of Quevedo canton, province of Los Ríos, for a period of three months. The DCA design was used with a factorial arrangement, evaluating four doses in two types of soils and counting on three repetitions, having as factor "L" the soils Fluvisols and Cambisols (Quevedo and Babahoyo) and the Factor "D" the doses of N applied (0, 32, 64, 97 g m-2), handling a total of 24 experimental units. The Tukey test was used at 5% probability, the results showed interaction between soil and dose factors. Estimating that the highest losses of N are given by the process of leaching conclusive by increasing the doses of N established. The types of soils are determinant in the losses of N due to the particles that characterize them, revealing greater total losses of N in the soil of Babahoyo, unlike the Quevedo soil. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | El presente proyecto de investigación se estableció con el objetivo de estimar las pérdidas de N por volatilización y lixiviación, siendo uno de los elementos más importantes en la nutrición del cultivo de arroz (Oryza sativa L). Las dosis de nitrógeno y el tipo de suelo son factores elementales dentro de las pérdidas de N, debido a la movilidad que presenta este elemento en las diferentes superficies, es recomendable aislar las parcelas a evaluar. El objetivo del presente proyecto de investigación, fue establecer el balance de nitrógeno en el cultivo de arroz en suelos de los cantones Babahoyo y Quevedo que permitan mejorar las dosificaciones del elemento, reduciendo de forma positiva a la contaminación ambiental. La evaluación se realizó en la parroquia San Cristóbal del cantón Quevedo, provincia de Los Ríos, durante un periodo de tres meses. Se empleó el diseño DCA con arreglo factorial, evaluando cuatro dosis en dos tipos de suelos y contando con tres repeticiones, teniendo como factor “L” los suelos Fluvisols y Cambisols (Quevedo y Babahoyo) y el Factor “D” las dosis de N aplicadas (0, 32, 64, 97 g m-2), manejando un total de 24 unidades experimentales. Se utilizó la prueba de Tukey al 5% de probabilidad, los resultados mostraron interacción entre los factores suelos y dosis. Estimando que las mayores pérdidas de N se dan por el proceso de lixiviación concluyentes al aumentar las dosis de N establecidas. Los tipos de suelos son determinantes en las perdidas de N debido a las partículas que los caracterizan, revelando mayores pérdidas totales de N en el suelo de Babahoyo, a diferencia del suelo de Quevedo. | es_ES |
