| dc.description | The present research was carried out during December 9 of 2003 to December 9 of 2004, on the demonstrative forest parcels of the Experimental “La Represa” farm, established by the Agricultural Research Unity of the State Technical University of Quevedo (UTEQ), which is located in the Fayta town, San Carlos parish belonging to the Quevedo canton, Los Rios province. The species that were part of this investigation were selected in the area of Quevedo, some for their production wooden, acceptable physical-mechanical properties and others for the threat, they are indicated as folows: Inga espectabilis Willd, Sapindus saponaria L, Cordia macrantha Chadat, Matisia Cordata Humb, Artocarpus altilis (Parkinson), Ochroma pyramidale (var.), Centrolobium paraeanse Tulle, Cybistax donnell smitthii, Cordia eriostigma and Triplaris guayaquilensis Wedd. The main objective of this research was to determine the wooden volume for the regression method and the contribution of biomass of leaves to the floor of 10 forest species. Measurement of the diameter (cm) was carried out, and the total height, basal area (m²) and the volume (m³) for tree were estimate. Then the units were taken at random and the values (basal area and volume) were submitted to the regression analysis, with the purpose to obtaining the values the intercept (a) and regression coefficient (b), it was also calculated the indicators of the degree of dependability of the obtained equations the coefficient determination (r2) and the correlation coefficient (r) for each species. For the biomass of leaves contribution, in each parcel, a collecting box of 1mx1mx0.25m of dimension was placed and the samples were picked up every month, with the monthly values the contribution of biomass of leaves was determined in g/m²/month and kg/ha/year. The species of more contribution of biomass of leaves for hectare were: balsa with 8309.9 Kg/year, tutumbe with 4584.90 kg/year and zapote with 7590 kg/year; the species of smaller contribution was jaboncillo with 563.19 kg/year. The sampling relative error for all the species fluctuated among 7.25% to 1.20%. This value allows us to accept the results of an inventory; this value cannot surpass 12%. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación se realizó desde el 9 de Diciembre del 2003 al 9 de Diciembre del 2004, en las parcelas forestales demostrativas de la Finca Experimental “La Represa”, establecidas por la Unidad de Investigación Agropecuaria de la Universidad Técnica Estatal de Quevedo (UTEQ), la misma que se encuentra ubicada en el Recinto Fayta, Parroquia San Carlos perteneciente al Cantón Quevedo Provincia de Los Ríos. Las especies que formaron parte de esta investigación fueron seleccionadas en la zona de Quevedo, algunas por su producción de madera, aceptables propiedades físico-mecánicas y otras por encontrase amenazadas, se indican a continuación: Inga espectabilis Willd, Sapindus saponaria L, Cordia macrantha Chadat, Matisia Cordata Humb, Artocarpus altilis (Parkinson), Ochroma pyramidale (var.), Centrolobium paraeanse Tul, Cybistax donnell smitthii, Cordia eriostigma y Triplaris guayaquilensis Wedd. Como objetivo principal de esta investigación fue determinar el volumen de madera por el método de regresión y el aporte de biomasa de hojas al suelo de 10 especies forestales. Se realizó la medición del diámetro (cm) y se estimó la altura total, procediendo al cálculo del área basal (m²) y el volumen (m³) por árbol. Posteriormente se procedió a tomar las unidades al azar y cuyos valores (área basal y volumen) fueron sometidos al análisis de regresión, con la finalidad de obtener los valores de intercepto (a) y coeficiente de regresión (b), también se calculó los indicadores del grado de confiabilidad de las ecuaciones obtenidas el coeficiente determinación (r2) y el coeficiente de correlación (r) para cada especie. En lo referente al aporte de biomasa de hojas, en cada parcela se colocó una caja recolectora de 1mx1mx0.25m de dimensión y las muestras se recogieron cada mes, con los valores mensuales se determinó el aporte de biomasa de hojas en g/m²/mes y kg/ha/año.Las especies de mayor aporte de biomasa de hojas por hectárea fueron: balsa con 8309.9 Kg/año, tutumbe con 4584.90 kg/año y zapote con 7590 kg/año; la especie de menor aporte fue jaboncillo con 563.19 kg/año.
