| dc.description | The Municipal Government of Quevedo considering promoting the welfare of its inhabitants agreed to the creation of the Administrative Unit Quevedo Shopping Center in July 2009, considered this project as an opportunity to offer merchants a decent, attractive place that captures the attention of visitors. During these six years that has kept the project have been multiple disadvantages that have arisen and which has caused unrest among people from Quevedo and the same traders who occupy the mall, which is considered as a project not attractive. Many of those involved believe that the problems generated by poor management by the management of the institution, which takes minimal effort to change their situation and really potentiate this work, which was intended as a tourist tractive de Quevedo and a place of ongoing visit of the quevedeños. This research raised primarily to assess the administrative management of Quevedo Shopping Center, located in the city of Quevedo during 2013, for which the duties and authorities of the CEO by an evaluation by the board of QSC was analyzed. The profitability of the administrative unit was determined considering the income and expenses of the year 2013, as detailed in the income statement. | dc.description.abstract | El Gobierno Municipal de Quevedo en un intento por promover el bienestar de sus habitantes acordó la creación de la Unidad Administrativa Quevedo Shopping Center en Julio del 2009, consideró este proyecto como una oportunidad de ofrecer a los comerciantes un lugar digno, atractivo, que capte la atención de los visitantes. En el transcurso de los 6 años que se ha mantenido el proyecto han sido múltiples los inconvenientes que se han ido presentando y que ha provocado malestar entre los quevedeños y los mismos comerciantes que ocupan el centro comercial, por lo cual se considera como un proyecto no atractivo. Muchos de los involucrados consideran que los problemas se generan por una deficiente gestión por parte de la gerencia de la institución, que realiza mínimos esfuerzos para cambiar su situación y realmente potencializar esta obra, que fue pensada como un atractivo turístico de Quevedo y un lugar de visita permanente de los quevedeños. La presente investigación planteó como objetivo principal evaluar la gestión administrativa del Quevedo Shopping Center, ubicado en la ciudad de Quevedo, año 2013, para lo cual se analizó los deberes y atribuciones del gerente general mediante una evaluación realizada por el directorio del QSC. La rentabilidad de la unidad administrativa fue determinada considerando los ingresos y egresos del año 2013, detallados en el balance de resultados. Mediante la encuesta a los arrendatarios se sistematizaron las acciones desarrolladas por la gerencia durante el año 2013, además consta información proporcionada por las dos personas que ejercieron el cargo de gerente durante este periodo, por lo cual se determinó que no se aplica las fases del proceso administrativo, y que la evaluación de la gestión administrativa contribuye a mejorar la eficiencia administrativa del Quevedo Shopping Center. | es_ES |
