| dc.description | In the "La María" experimental farm, in the poultry poultry program, Faculty of Animal Sciences, Quevedo State Technical University (UTEQ), located at km 7 of the Quevedo- El Empalme road, Mocache (Gen Nana) grazing supplemented with cassava leaf meal (Manihot esculenta Crantz), with a duration of thirteen weeks, with the objective of evaluating the effects of the use of the leaves of manihot (Manihot esculenta Crantz) (Hhy) included in diets for guarico chickens (Gen Nana) in grazing. The variables to be investigated were; (g), weight gain (g), feed conversion, yield (%) and economic analysis of the treatments. Four treatments and six replications were used with a total of 96 birds (4 birds / replicate). The treatments were T1 = control (commercial balance), T2 = (commercial balance + 6% Hhy), T3 = (commercial balance + 9% Hhy), T4 = (commercial balance + 12% Hhy). There were significant differences (P <0.05) for total food consumption, treatments containing inclusions (6, 9 and 12%) showed no difference between them as compared to the control treatment (T1), the highest consumption was presented by treatment control with (8258.33g) and the lowest, T3 treatment (9% Hhy) (7597.0 g) with a probability (0.030). In the variable weight gain, significant differences (P <0.05) were observed among the evaluated treatments, T1 Control achieved the highest total weight gain (2462.50 g) and the lowest gain was T4 (2153.0g) with a probability (0.024). In the feed conversion, T1 obtained the best results (3.63) than the other treatments. The animals that consumed the 9% inclusion of Hhy in the diets presented higher profitability. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | En la finca experimental “La María”, en el Programa avícola de aves criollas, Facultad de Ciencias Pecuarias, de la Universidad Técnica Estatal de Quevedo (UTEQ), situada en el km 7 de la vía Quevedo- El Empalme, cantón Mocache, se realizó la investigación titulada “Parámetros productivos de pollos guaricos (Gen Nana) en pastoreo suplementados con harina de hojas de yuca (Manihot esculenta Crantz)”, con una duración de trece semanas, con el objetivo de evaluar los efectos de la utilización de las hojas de yuca (Manihot esculenta Crantz) (Hhy) incluidas en dietas para pollos guaricos (Gen Nana) en el pastoreo. Las variables a investigar fueron; consumo de alimento (g), ganancia de peso (g), conversión alimenticia, rendimiento a la canal (%) y análisis económico de los tratamientos. Se utilizaron cuatro tratamientos y seis repeticiones con un total de 96 aves (4 aves/ repetición). Los tratamientos fueron T1= control (balanceado comercial), T2= (balanceado comercial + 6% de Hhy), T3= (balanceado comercial + 9% de Hhy), T4= (balanceado comercial + 12% de Hhy). Para el consumo de alimento total se mostraron diferencias significativas (P< 0.05), los tratamientos que contenían inclusiones (6, 9 y 12%) no mostraron diferencias entre ellos a diferencia del tratamiento control (T1), el mayor consumo lo presentó el tratamiento control con (8258.33g) y el menor, el tratamiento T3 (9% de Hhy) (7597,0 g) con una probabilidad (0.030). En la variable ganancia de peso total se observaron diferencias significativas (P< 0.05) entre los tratamientos evaluados, el T1 Control logró mayor ganancia de peso total (2462,50 g) y la menor ganancia fue el T4 (2153,0g) con una probabilidad (0.024). En la conversión alimenticia, T1 obtuvo los mejores resultados (3.63) que los demás tratamientos. Los animales que consumieron el 9% de inclusión de Hhy en las dietas presentaron mayor rentabilidad. | es_ES |
