| dc.description | The research was carried out in the Shushufindi canton, county of Sucumbíos, in the San Alfonso farm property of Mr. José Eduardo Quilumba. Geographically it is located among the following ones coordinated: Latitude 99° 46' 40" N and longitude 31° 59' 16 '' E. The objectives of this study was: to determine the growth of the forest species and of the cocoa (CCN51). to determine the establishment costs for hectare of a agroforestry system. The trial was established in a surface of 10800 m2. Three forest species associated with cocoa and corn were planted. The treatments were established in at random Blocks design of with four repetitions. The data of diameter and height of the forest species and the cocoa were registered. The diameter and the height of the forest species presented significant differences in the three evaluated periods. The mountain cedar presented the best averages in diameter and height. On the other hand the diameter and the height of the cocoa didn't present significant differences. to the beginning, to the three six months of established the system. | dc.description.abstract | La investigación se realizó en el cantón Shushufindi, provincia de Sucumbíos, en la finca San Alfonso de propiedad del Señor José Eduardo Quilumba. Geográficamente está ubicada entre las siguientes coordenadas: Latitud 99° 46’ 40” N y longitud 31° 59’ 16’’ E. Los objetivos este estudio fueron: Determinar el crecimiento de las especies forestales y del cacao (CCN51). Determinar los costos de establecimiento por hectárea de un sistema agroforestal. El ensayo fue establecido en una superficie de 10800 m2. Se plantaron tres especies forestales asociadas con cacao y maíz. Los tratamientos fueron establecidos en un diseño de Bloques al Azar, con cuatro repeticiones. Se registro los datos de diámetro y altura de las especies forestales y el cacao al inicio, a los tres y seis meses de establecido el sistema. El diámetro y la altura de las especies forestales presentaron diferencias significativas en los tres periodos evaluados. El cedro de montaña presentó los mejores promedios en diámetro y altura. En cambio el diámetro y la altura del cacao no presentó diferencias significativas. | es_ES |
