Abstract
El papel que cumple una auditoría de cumplimiento en relación a los departamentos de un
área específica es de suma importancia porque permite el establecimiento de parámetros
preventivos y correctivos para que esta no presente inconvenientes administrativos,
financieros y contables. La Unidad Educativa Particular América ubicada en la provincia de
Los Ríos, cantón Quevedo, inició las labores de educación en el año 1965 con la escuela
anteriormente llamada “América”, con acuerdo ministerial #2015 y estaba dirigida a nivel
eclesial desde la parroquia San José, precedida por el Padre Leonardo Urteaga. La
investigación consistió en la evaluar la incidencia de una auditoría de gestión a la Unidad
Educativa América durante el período del 01 de Enero al 31 de Diciembre de 2017, con el
fin de analizar la gestión contable – tributaria que se ha venido realizando en la organización
durante el mencionado periodo. Metodológicamente se emplearon técnicas e instrumentos
que permitieron identificar que los procesos contables y tributarios estén debidamente
aplicados y sustentados mediante la información proporcionada por los responsables del área
administrativa y contable de la institución educativa para conocer las posibles infracciones y
errores dentro del período 2017
Description
The role of a compliance audit in relation to the departments of a specific area is very
important because it allows the establishment of preventive and corrective parameters so that
it does not present administrative, financial and accounting inconveniences. The Particular
America Educational Unit located in the province of Los Ríos, canton Quevedo, began the
work of education in 1965 with the school previously called "America", with ministerial
agreement # 2015 and was directed at ecclesial level from the parish of San José , preceded
by Father Leonardo Urteaga. The investigative work will consist of evaluating the incidence
of a management audit to the Educational Unit America during the period from January 1 to
December 31, 2017, in order to analyze the accounting - tax management that has been
carried out in the organization during the mentioned period. Methodologically, techniques
and instruments were used to identify that the accounting and tax processes are duly applied
and supported by the information provided by those responsible for the administrative and
accounting area of the educational institution to learn about possible infractions and errors
within the 2017 period
