| dc.description | This research was conducted in the humid tropical forest of the Tropical Pichilingue Experimental Station of the INIAP Located in the canton Mocache, province of Rivers, with an area of 50 ha. The objective of the study was to evaluate the floristic composition and structure of the forest in the EETP. 2 plots were established 500 m² (50 m x 10 m). In each plot were recorded trees with DBH ≥ 10 cm, the common name, the features and the height of the species; and their respective identification is performed by a specialist in the identification of forest species in the area. It was found a total of 52 individuals, including 13 in 10 families, 14 genera, species, two of which were not achieved, identify their family and scientific name. The most representative families were: Anacardiaceae and Moraceae. The most abundant species was Pseudolmedia rigid (dash) with 22 individuals. The species with the highest dominance was Anacardium excelsum (cashew) with a value of 67.15 %. With greater relative frequency was the species P. Rigid with 43.21 %, whereas with higher importance value index (IVI) was for the species A. excelsum with a value of 96.99%. The largest number of trees found in the medium stratum (10-20 m) with a total of 33 individuals, and the top tier (>=20) with a total of 19 individuals. The value of the Shannon index indicates that the forest contains a diversity of species. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación se realizó en el bosque Húmedo Tropical de la Estacion Experimental Tropical Pichilingue del INIAP, localizado en el cantón Mocache, provincia de Los Ríos, con un área de 50 ha. El objetivo de la investigación fue evaluar la composición florística y estructura del bosque en la EETP. Se establecieron 2 parcelas de 500 m² (50 m x 10 m). En cada parcela se registró árboles con DAP ≥ 10 cm, se registró el nombre común, las características y la altura de las especies; y su respectiva identificación se la realizó con un especialista en identificación de especies forestales de la zona. Se encontró un total de 52 individuos, comprendidos en 10 familias, 13 géneros, 14 especies de las cuales dos no se logró identificar su familia ni nombre científico. Las familias más representativas fueron: Anacardiaceae y Moraceae. La especie más abundante fue Pseudolmedia rigida (guion) con 22 individuos. La especie con mayor dominancia fue Anacardium excelsum (marañon) con un valor de 67,15 %. Con mayor frecuencia relativa fue la especie P. rigida con 43,21 %, mientras que con mayor Índice de Valor de Importancia (IVI) fue para la especie A. excelsum con un valor de 96,99%. La mayor cantidad de árboles se encontraron dentro del estrato medio (10-20 m) con un total de 33 individuos, y el estrato superior (≥ 20) con un total de 19 individuos. El valor del índice de Shannon indica que el bosque contiene una diversidad media de especies. | es_ES |
