Abstract
La presente investigación se realizó, en Hacienda "Esperanza " ubicada vía camarones recinto " La Malanga " Cantón Buena Fe, durante el invierno del 2014 de Enero a Abril. Cuya longitud Oeste79° 43’ 09” Latitud Sur 01° 08’ 39.02” y 120 msnm.
Se probaron los siguientes tratamientos: T1 2B688; T2 PAC259; T3 2B604; T4 DAS3383; T5 NB7443; T6 NB7253; T7 MAXIMUS, T8 DK399; T9 PAC105; T10 PAC339; T11 AVANTA ; T12 DK7088 ; T13 DK1596; T14 PAC860; T15 SOMMA; T16 PIONEER30K73 y T17 MN – 9092. Se empleó un Diseño Bloques “Completos al Azar” (BBCA), con 17 tratamientos, 4 repeticiones.
La mayor precocidad a la floración se registró en el testigo comercial T6 (NB7443) el mismo que floreció a los 47 días. Los testigos comerciales que registraron la mayor altura de planta fueron para el Pac 259 y DK 399.Por otra parte en la altura inserción de mazorca se obtuvo el mejor resultado en el nuevo material Pac 860 por encima del testigo comercial.
La cobertura de mazorca y número de mazorcas cosechadas mostraron diferencias estadísticas altamente significativas, siendo en la primera variable el nuevo material experimental; Maximus y el testigo comercial Pac 105 presentaron mayor cobertura de mazorca; número de mazorcas cosechadas fue para el nuevo material experimental MN-9092, existiendo pocas diferencias con los testigos comerciales evaluados. En la longitud y diámetro de la mazorca; siendo el testigo comercial que presento la mayor longitud 2B604 y el que obtuvo mayor diámetro el 2B688.
En la uniformidad de mazorca se observó diferencias altamente significativas siendo el nuevo material Maximus el más uniforme, El mayor rendimiento en kg/ha lo presentaron los testigos comerciales AVANTA y 2B688.En relación Beneficio / costo lo obtuvieron los testigos comerciales DK399 y NB7443 con 0.92 y 0.86.

This research was conducted in Hacienda "Hope" satellite campus located shrimp " La Malanga " Buena Fé Canton , during the winter of 2014 from January to April . Treatment were tested as follows : T1 2B688 ; PAC259 T2 ; 2B604 T3 ; DAS3383 T4 ; NB7443 T5 ; NB7253 T6 ; MAXIMUS T7 , T8 DK399 ; PAC105 T9 ; PAC339 T10 ; AVANTA T11 ; T12 DK7088 ; T13 DK1596 ; PAC860 T14 ; T15 Somma ; T16 and T17 PIONEER30K73 MN - 9092. Design " Randomized Complete " ( BBCA ) with 17 treatments, 4 replications was used blocks . Most earliness to flowering was recorded in the commercial control T6 (NB7443) the same that flowered at 47 days. Commercial witnesses who recorded the highest plant height was for the Pac 399.Por DK 259 and elsewhere in inserting ear height the best result was obtained in the new Pac 860 material above the commercial control .
