Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación se realizó con el propósito de optimizar la producción en el proceso de fabricación de bandas transportadoras de piso en la empresa WIL-PAC, con ello disminuir costos innecesarios en los que se han incurrido a lo largo de los años tales como paros inesperados, retrasos, interrupción en los procesos. La nueva redistribución de planta se centra en solucionar o minimizar estos problemas que se han venido dando en el proceso tales como la mala coordinación en el tiempo de fabricación, el tiempo improductivo de algunos trabajadores, incumplimiento en el tiempo de entrega etc. El objetivo primordial del proyecto es disminuir los problemas antes mencionados realizando una propuesta en el proceso de fabricación de bandas transportadoras, evaluando el proceso actual y comparándolo con la nueva propuesta, con ello determinar la eficacia de la nueva redistribución. La empresa actualmente aplica la distribución por proceso la cual no es la correcta para la fabricación de este tipo de maquinarias por lo cual se propone cambiar la distribución de planta por una nueva (distribución de planta por posición fija) ya que debido a las grandes dimensiones y al exagerado peso de la misma es la distribución adecuada en este tipo de proceso. Con la nueva propuesta se prevé reducir las grandes distancias y eliminan las interrupciones que presentan, ocasionando retrasos en el proceso. El primer capítulo se centra en el análisis del proceso actual en la fabricación de bandas transportadoras de piso realizando estudias de tiempo, diagrama de flujo, diagrama de recorrido, tipo de distribución que aplica la empresa, estado actual de las maquinarias que intervienen en el proceso. El segundo capítulo identificar el tipo de distribución que actualmente aplica la empresa para proponer el más adecuado en la fabricación de este tipo de maquinarias. El tercer capítulo busca reordenar espacios necesarios para movimiento del material, almacenamiento, equipos y/o líneas de producción para optimizar este tipo de procesos.

Description
This research work was carried out with the purpose of optimizing the production in the manufacturing process of floor conveyor belts in the WIL-PAC company, thereby reducing unnecessary costs incurred over the years such as Unexpected stoppages, delays, interruption in processes. The new plant redistribution focuses on solving or minimizing these problems that have been occurring in the process such as poor coordination in the manufacturing time, the unproductive time of some workers, non-compliance in the delivery time etc. The main objective of the project is to reduce the aforementioned problems by making a proposal in the manufacturing process of conveyor belts, evaluating the current process and comparing it with the new proposal, thereby determining the effectiveness of the new redistribution. The company currently applies the distribution by process which is not the correct one for the manufacture of this type of machinery, therefore it is proposed to change the distribution of plant by a new one (distribution of plant by fixed position) since due to the large dimensions and the exaggerated weight of it is the appropriate distribution in this type of process. With the new proposal it is planned to reduce the great distances and eliminate the interruptions that they present, causing delays in the process. The first chapter focuses on the analysis of the current process in the manufacture of floor conveyor belts performing time studies, flow chart, route diagram, type of distribution applied by the company, current state of the machinery involved in the process . The second chapter identifies the type of distribution currently applied by the company to propose the most appropriate in the manufacture of this type of machinery. The third chapter seeks to reorder necessary spaces for material movement, storage, equipment and / or production lines to optimize this type of process.
