Abstract
La presente investigación se realizó en la comunidad de Murocomba perteneciente al cantón Valencia, provincia de Los Ríos. Situado a una altitud de 526 msnm. y dentro de las siguientes Coordenadas UTM: Latitud 705511E y Longitud 9930735N. Este sitio pertenece a la zona de vida ecológica bosque húmedo Tropical (bhT), con mayor precipitación en los meses de febrero, marzo y abril, y temperatura promedio de 23°C. Los objetivos de esta investigación fueron: identificar el potencial turístico de la comunidad de Murocomba, realizar el estudio de mercado, establecer la organización legal y administrativa que requiere la creación de un centro de turismo comunitario, y analizar la factibilidad financiera del proyecto. Se identificó el potencial turístico mediante el inventario de atractivos turísticos, utilizando la metodología sugerida por el MINTUR-GNRT, 2004. Las encuestas utilizadas para realizar el estudio de mercado fueron aplicadas a una muestra de la población económicamente activa de los cantones Quevedo y Valencia. El estudio legal y administrativo permitió establecer un Estatuto para el centro de turismo comunitario Murocomba, que a futuro permitirá un adecuado manejo del centro, de igual forma se diseñó un organigrama estructural para su mejor funcionamiento. Se realizó el análisis de factibilidad financiera del proyecto considerando la inversión requerida tanto para infraestructura turística, como para equipamiento, mobiliario, gastos pre operativos y el capital de trabajo indispensable para la puesta en marcha del proyecto y mediante los indicadores financieros de rentabilidad se demostró que el proyecto económicamente es viable.

This research was conducted in the Murocomba community belonging to the Valencia canton, Los Ríos province. Located at 526 meters of altitude, within the following UTM coordinates: Latitude 705511E and Longitude 9930735N. This site belongs to the Tropical rainforest ecological classification, with more precipitation in the months of february, march and april, and average temperature of 23 °C. The objectives of this research were: to identify the tourism potential of Murocomba community, to carried out the market research, establish legal organization and administrative, that requires the creation of a community tourism center, and analyze the feasibility of the project. Tourism potential was identified by the inventory of tourist attractions, using the methodology suggested by the MINTUR - GNRT, 2004. The surveys used for market research were applied to a sample of the economically active population of the Quevedo and Valencia cantons. The legal study and office worker allowed to establish a Statute for the Murocomba center of community tourism that in the future will allow an appropriate handling of the center, at same way it was designed a structural flowchart for a best operation. It was carried out the analysis of financial feasibility of the project considering the investment required as for tourist infrastructure such as, equipment, furniture, expenses operative pre and the capital of indispensable work for the setting in march of the project and by the financial indicators of profitability it was demonstrated that the project economically is viable.
