Abstract
La presente investigación se realizó en el vivero agroforestal "La Represa" del recinto Fayta, de la parroquia San Carlos perteneciente al cantón Quevedo de la provincia de Los Ríos, los objetivos de la investigación fueron realizar un diagnóstico situacional del vivero a través de una entrevista realizada al personal encargado de la producción, mediante un muestreo lograr reconocer síntomas que presentaban las plántulas y sus partes posteriormente tomar muestras representativas para facilitar la identificación de las plagas y enfermedades que comprenden insectos, hongos y agentes abióticos que causan el mal desarrollo y funcionamiento de las plántulas que se producen en el lugar, esta recolección de muestras comprendieron partes vegetales de las plántulas de cada especie in situ y de insectos que se capturaron. Esta actividad se realizó en los meses de febrero y marzo y se realizó 2 veces a la semana por un mes y medio. Estas muestras fueron sometidas a análisis de laboratorio, donde se lograron identificar 11 especies de insectos pertenecientes a las órdenes Hymenoptera, Hemíptera, Díptera, Orthoptera, Coleóptera, Lepidóptera y se reportaron 3 géneros de hongos fitopatógenos, los que son Fusarium spp., Lasiodiplodia spp. y Capnodium spp., además las muestras que no presentaban ataque de agentes biótico se determinaron como enfermedades no infecciosas. Luego de haber sido identificados estos agentes se elaboró un plan de manejo integral titulado “Propuesta de un plan de manejo como guía técnica para el manejo de plagas y enfermedades en viveros agroforestales” en donde se detallan los procesos adecuados que se llevan un cabo en la instalación de un vivero, y los métodos para evitar el desarrollo de las plagas y enfermedades, aplicando metodologías y recomendaciones basadas en la experiencia de varios autores, que han elaborado los manuales técnicos para viveros de todo tipo de plantas, de manera que se logre mediante estos procedimiento contrarrestar el daño que estos agentes, ya sean de origen biótico o abiótico, no logren afectar a la productividad del vivero, y evitar que causen perdidas económicas.

The present investigation was carried out in the agroforestry nursery "La Represa" of the Fayta enclosure, of the San Carlos parish belonging to the Quevedo canton of the province of Los Ríos, the objectives of the investigation were to make a situational diagnosis of the nursery through an interview carried out to the personnel in charge of the production, by means of a sampling to recognize the symptoms that the seedlings and their parts presented later to take representative samples to facilitate the identification of the pests and diseases that include insects, fungi and abiotic agents that cause the poor development and functioning of the seedlings that are produced in the place, this collection of samples included plant parts of the seedlings of each species in situ and of insects that were captured. This activity was carried out in the months of February and March and was carried out twice a week for a month and a half. These samples were subjected to laboratory analysis, where they were able to identify 11 species of insects belonging to the orders Hymenoptera, Hemiptera, Diptera, Orthoptera, Coleoptera, Lepidoptera and 3 genera of phytopathogenic fungi were reported, which are Fusarium spp., Lasiodiplodia spp. . and Capnodium spp., in addition the samples that did not present attack of biotic agents were determined as non-infectious diseases. After having identified these agents, a comprehensive management plan was developed entitled "Proposal of a management plan as a technical guide for the management of pests and diseases in agroforestry nurseries" where the appropriate processes that are carried out in the installation of a nursery, and methods to prevent the development of pests and diseases, applying methodologies and recommendations based on the experience of several authors, who have developed technical manuals for nurseries of all types of plants, so that it is achieved through These procedures counteract the damage that these agents, whether of biotic or abiotic origin, fail to affect the productivity of the nursery, and prevent them from causing economic losses.
