Abstract
La presente investigación tuvo como propósito establecer el mantenimiento predictivo y preventivo del actual sistema de agua potable del cantón El Em-palme, para lo cual se elaboró un proyecto técnico, que permitirá mejorar el actual servicio que se brinda a la ciudadanía en general. El trabajo fue realiza-do en el departamento de agua potable del Gobierno Autónomo Descentrali-zado del Cantón El Empalme. Es importante mencionar que se necesita ges-tionar y presupuestar recursos que financien un buen tratamiento e implemen-tar procedimientos de tipo preventivo y predictivo, si considera que el agua es el principal elemento que consumen el todo ser vivo, en especial el ser hu-mano, es menester que se brinde este líquido vital con calidad, pues, se cono-ce que el agua potable es aquella que cumple con la norma establecida por la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS). Se concluye con los resultados de la aplicación de encuestas que al no existir manuales o flujogramas que per-mitan la organización administrativa para realizar mantenimiento preventivo y predictivo no se garantiza una adecuado manejo de valoración de las condi-ciones para reparar o renovar tuberías y otros elementos que tienen relación con el almacenamiento o distribución del agua; tampoco se realiza un ade-cuado control y planificación de los sistemas de mantenimiento. Con el estu-dio económico realizado se establece que si es posible obtener de una manera eficiente con el recurso necesario para brindar un mejor servicio y mejorar la calidad y cantidad de agua potable que se brinda en el cantón. El presupuesto del resultante del mantenimiento predictivo y preventivo, con relación a las di-ferentes actividades rutinarias que podrían realizarse en el actual sistema de agua potable suma un total de $ 22,637.74.
Description
This research aims to establish predictive and preventive maintenance of the existing water system canton El Empalme, for which a technical project, which will improve the current service is provided to citizens in general was devel-oped. The work was performed in the Department of Drinking Water Decentral-ized Autonomous Government of Canton El Empalme, 2014. It is noteworthy that need to manage and budget resources to finance a good treatment proce-dures and implement preventive and predictive type, considering that the Water is the main element that consume all life, especially human beings, it is neces-sary that this vital liquid is provided with quality, since it is known that drinking water is one that meets the standard set by the World Organization (WHO). It concludes with the results of the application of interviews and surveys the ab-sence of manual or spreadsheet to allow the administrative organization for preventive and predictive maintenance one proper management assessment of the conditions is not guaranteed to repair or renovate pipes and other items are related to the storage and distribution of water; no adequate planning and control systems servicing. With economic study states that if it is possible to obtain efficiently the resources needed to provide better service and improve the quality of drinking water provided in the canton. The resulting budget pre-dictive and preventive maintenance, with regard to the different routine activi-ties that could be undertaken in the current water system has a total of $ 22637.74.
