Abstract
La presente investigación se realizó en Empresa American Seguridad Privada Ameripriv Cía. Ltda. del Cantón Quevedo, misma que se dedica a brindar servicio de seguridad privada ha distintas empresas del medio, se encuentra ubicada en la ciudadela la Floresta calle Milton Reyes Callejón S/n. del Cantón Quevedo, Provincia Los Ríos. El trabajo investigativo tuvo una duración de 6 meses.
Una de las actividades de mayor trascendencia de organización y métodos, consiste en el análisis de los procedimientos administrativos vigentes o en la definición de los circuitos y las nuevas actividades que encare una empresa constituida; es aquí donde un procedimiento administrativo implica la definición de funciones y tareas para cada área en que se halle estructurada una organización, con especificaciones claras y precisas del tratamiento o curso de acción a seguir.
Los objetivos específicos planteados para la empresa Ameripriv fueron los siguientes: Identificar los procesos actuales de la estructura organizacional y funcional, determinar las falencias existentes en el proceso organizacional y funcional, desarrollar la propuesta de reingeniería para la empresa American Seguridad Privada Ameripriv Cia. Ltda. del Cantón Quevedo.
El direccionamiento metodológico estuvo orientado en el empleo de dos tipos de Investigación: De campo, en la que se utilizó las técnicas de la encuesta, la entrevista y observación en donde se aplicó los métodos Deductivo - Inductivo y Analítico - Sintético e Investigación Bibliográfica, cuyo soporte es la información obtenida por medio de fuentes primarias y secundarias apoyadas en métodos.
Para conocer el medio situacional de Ameripriv se encuestó a sus empleados, se utilizó un cuestionario; en donde se destaca que de las personas que laboran en la empresa tiene la edad fluctuante de 26 a 35 años, que los años que llevan laborando el personal operativo es menos de un año con el 63.04%, los problemas que más afectan la armonía en el trabajo del personal operativo es el sueldo con el 73.91%, la capacitación que reciben en su mayoría corresponde al 84.78% rara vez el 80.43% indica no contar con un manual de funciones, el 100% señaló que están de acuerdo con que se realice una reingeniería porque permitirá el crecimiento de la empresa
El manual de procedimiento administrativo fue elaborado como un mecanismo de control para fortalecer la eficiencia de la gestión empresarial en todas las áreas que la conforman, además de realizar la descripción de cada puesto de trabajo, y la responsabilidad de cada empleado.

The work investigativo had a duration of 6 months.
One of the activities of major transcendency of organization and methods, consists of the analysis of the administrative in force procedures or of the definition of the circuits and the new activities that a constituted company faces; it is here where an administrative procedure involves the definition of functions and tasks for every area that is structured an organization, with clear and precise specifications of the treatment or course of action to continue.
The specific aims raised for the company Ameripriv were the following ones: To identify the current processes of the structure organizacional and functional, to determine the existing failings in the process organizacional and functionally, develops the offer of reengineering for the company Private American Seguridad Ameripriv Cia. Ltda. of the Canton Quevedo.
The methodological addressing was orientated in the employment of two types of Investigation: Of field, in that one used the technologies of the survey, the interview and observation where the methods were applied Deductively - Inductively and Analytical - Synthetically and Bibliographical Investigation, which support is the information obtained by means of primary and secondary sources rested on methods.

The manual of administrative procedure was elaborated as a mechanism of control to strengthen the efficiency of the business management in all the areas that shape it, beside realizing the description of every working place, and the responsibility of every employee.
