Abstract
La presente investigación se llevó a cabo en la finca “Guadalupe”, del Recinto “Unidos venceremos 1”. En el Cantón Pedro Vicente Maldonado, Provincia de Pichincha. Se estableció la investigación “Comportamiento agronómico y valoración nutricional de tres variedades de Brachiaria y Panicum en el Cantón Pedro Vicente Maldonado”, en donde se plantearon el objetivo Evaluar el comportamiento agronómico y valoración nutricional de tres variedades de Brachiarias y Panicum en diferentes estados de madurez. Se estudiaron seis variedades de pasto (v1: Saboya común; v2: Saboya tanzania; v3: Saboya tobiata; v4 B. brizantha, v5 B. decumbens y v6 Mulato, y el factor (E); tres cuatro edades de cosecha: (e1:21; e2:42; e3:63 y e4:84). Se utilizó un Diseño de Bloques Completos al Azar (DBCA).
El mayor peso de hoja se presenta en el pasto Saboya común a los 21 días con 159,00 g; a los 42 y 63 días el pasto Tobiata con 1264,25 y 1527,00 g y a los 84 días con el pasto Saboya común con 1494,75 g. Peso de tallo el mayor peso se registra en la Saboya Tobiata a los 21, 42, 63 días con 282,50; 1527,25; y 1867,00 g, respectivamente, de igual forma a los 84 días los mejores resultados que se obtuvieron es en el pasto Saboya Tanzania. En la relación hoja: tallo a los 21 días el valor más alto se registró con el pasto B. Brizantha con 1,00; a los 42 días el mayor valor lo presentó el pasto B. Decumbens con 1,67 a los 63 días la mayor relación hoja: tallo es en el pasto B. Mulato con 0,92 y a los 84 días el pasto Saboya Tobiata con 0,99, la mayor longitud de hoja se presentó en el pasto Tobiata con 72,55; 89,10; 95,35; y 89,65 cm, en los diferentes estados de madurez. El ancho de hoja el pasto que se destaca es el Tobiata a los 21, 42, 63 y 84 días 3,50; 3,00; 3,50; 3,50 cm respectivamente. El pasto B. Brizantha presenta en las tres edades de corte el mayor número de hojas con 489,10 a los 21 días; 281,30 a los 42 días y 742,65 a los 84 días, el pasto B. Mulato a los 63 días obtuvo los mejores resultados con 667,70 para las cuatros edades.

Pastures and fodder are the staple food of cattle and other grazing use efficiency could meet much of the nutritional needs of cattle. This research was carried out at the "Guadalupe" Campus "United We Stand 1". In the Canton Pedro Vicente Maldonado, Pichincha Province. Established research "agronomic performance and nutritional assessment of three varieties of Brachiaria and Panicum in Canton Pedro Vicente Maldonado," where the objective is raised evaluate the agronomic and nutritional assessment of three varieties of Brachiaria and Panicum at different stages of maturity .
We studied six varieties of grass (v1: Savoy common v2: Savoy tanzania, v3: Savoy tobiata; v4 B. brizantha, B. decumbens v5 and v6 Mulato, and the factor (E), three four ages of harvest: (e1 : 21; e2: 42, e3: e4 63 and 84). Design We used a randomized complete block (DCA).
