Abstract
La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo principal determinar el tamaño y forma de parcelas de muestreo para inventario forestal en plantaciones de Tectona grandis L.F. (Teca), además se zonificó el área efectiva de la plantación para dividirlas en lotes e instalar los tipos de muestreo, se evaluó las variables dasométricas de los tipos de tamaño y forma de muestreo y se determinó qué tipo de muestreo se ajusta al censo total. La plantación se encuentra ubicada en la finca “Hnos. Mendoza”, en el recinto Pavón de la parroquia San Carlos, kilómetro 13,5 de la vía Quevedo-San Carlos; donde se registraron los datos de la plantación con la ayuda de un GPS, cinta diamétrica, hipsómetro de Sunnto.
El terreno tiene un total de 11,98 ha; la metodología consistió en dividir la plantación en 6 lotes, en cada lote se instalaron 9 unidades de muestreo de diferente tamaño y forma; de 500 m2, 750 m2, y 1000 m2; las formas geométricas: circular, cuadrada y rectangular. Los resultados muestran que la unidad de muestreo circular de 500 m² es el tamaño y forma que mejor se ajusta al censo total con un margen de error 4, 97% menor a lo admitido en la norma forestal de 5% para plantaciones forestales.
Description
The present research had as main objective to determine the size and form of sampling plots for forest inventory in plantations of Tectona grandis L.F. (Teca). In addition, the effective area of the plantation was zoned to divide them into lots and install the types of sampling, the dasometric variables of the sample size and shape types were evaluated and the type of sampling was determined according to the total census. The plantation is located in the farm "Hnos. Mendoza ", in the Pavón precinct of the parish San Carlos, kilometer 13,5 of the route Quevedo-San Carlos; Where the data of the plantation were registered with the aid of a GPS, diametric tape, Sunnto hypsometer.
The land has a total of 11.98 ha; The methodology consisted in dividing the plantation into 6 lots, in each lot were installed 9 sampling units of different size and shape; The sizes were 500 m², 750 m², and 1000 m²; The geometric forms: circular square and rectangular. The results show that the circular sampling unit of 500 m² is the size and shape that best fits the total census with a margin of error 4.97% lower than that allowed in the forest standard of 5% for forest plantations.
