Abstract
La presente investigación se llevó a cabo en la localidad de Quevedo en la Finca Experimental “La María”, y en Balzar en el Recinto “La Guayaquil” los terrenos de la Asociación Agrícola La Rula. El objetivo general del presente estudio fue: Determinar el comportamiento, adaptabilidad y manejo de híbridos triples promisorios de maíz que conlleven a mejorar la rentabilidad de los productores, y los objetivos específicos fueron:
1) Determinar la interacción genotipo ambiente de los híbridos promisorios de maíz.,
2) Evaluar las características del grano de los híbridos experimentales obtenidos a partir de cruzas simples.
3) Los híbridos estudiados fueron cinco experimentales y promisorios (SM45XSSD08) SV39, (SM45XSV35) SV39, (SM45X SV 15) SV39, (SV15 XSM45)SV39, (SM15 X SSD08) SV39, y los comerciales INIAP H - 551, AG - 003 e INIAP H - 553 (testigo), que correspondieron a los tratamientos en estudio en las zonas de Quevedo y Balzar. Se empleó para cada zona el diseño experimental Bloques Completos al Azar. Se aplicó la prueba de Tukey al 95 % para establecer las diferencias estadísticas entre las medias de los híbridos y la prueba “t” para determinar las diferencias estadísticas entre las zonas. Se evaluaron las variables floración masculina y femenina, altura de planta e inserción de la mazorca, diámetro, longitud y número de hileras por mazorca, enfermedades, rendimiento de grano. ....

This research was conducted in the town of Quevedo at the Experimental Farm "La María" and Balzar on Campus "The Guayaquil" the grounds of the Agricultural Association The Rula. The overall objective of this study was to: determine the behavior, adaptability and handling of promising hybrids maize triples that lead to improve the profitability of producers, and the specific objectives were:
1) Determine the ambient genotype maize hybrids promising interaction.
2) Evaluate the grain characteristics of the experimental hybrids obtained from single crosses. The five experimental hybrids were studied and promising (SM45 X SSD08) SV39 (SV35 SM45 X) SV39 (SM45 X SV 15) SV39 (SV15 X SM45) SV39 (SM15 X SSD08) SV39 and H-commercial lNlAP 551, AG-003 and H-553 lNlAP (control), which corresponded to the treatments under study in areas of Quevedo and Balzar. Area was used for each experimental design Randomized Complete Blocks.
