Abstract
En la presente investigación se realizó un estudio de accesibilidad al sitio web de la Estación de Radio RVT Satelital 91.5 FM del Cantón Quevedo, encontrándose que no ha sido desarrollado con normas de estandarización de la W3C, presentando barreras de accesibilidad para los usuarios que tienen algún tipo de discapacidad. El proceso metodológico que se llevó a cabo para la evaluación del sitio fue aplicar el diseño no experimental en vista que no se manipulo ningún dato, lo que se hizo fue revisar información existente y se aplicó las normas de estándares de la W3C para el diseño del prototipo. No obstante, en el análisis de resultados se realizó la evaluación con las herramientas automáticas entre ellas TAW, OAW y Functional Accessibility Evaluator 2.0, además del criterio de un desarrollador web el cual brindo ayuda especializada en el diagnóstico del sitio. Por último se concluye que los resultados de los instrumentos de investigación permitió obtener el grado de conformidad del sitio web de acuerdo a las opiniones de las personas involucradas determinando la información específica para las mejoras en el diseño del prototipo, además se evaluó al sitio web de la radio utilizando las herramientas automáticas, indicando que la herramienta TAW brindó el mayor número de errores y advertencias encontradas en la evaluación, así mismo se logró diseñar un nuevo prototipo en base a los resultados de los instrumentos de investigación y de acuerdo a las buenas prácticas del proceso de evaluación de las herramientas automáticas, implementado también las tecnologías necesarias en el diseño web para desarrollar un sitio amigable, atractivo y entendible para el usuario cumpliendo las directrices de la W3C, también se utilizó el programa de software libre como es NVDA como material de propuesta para las personas con alto índice de discapacidad visual, brindado de esta manera un sitio eficiente y garantizado para el usuario.
Description
In this research is a study of accessibility to the web site of the Radio Station RVT Satelital 91.5 FM of Quevedo city, finding that it has not been developed with standardization of the W3C standards, introducing accessibility barriers for users who have disabilities. The methodological process which was carried out for the evaluation of the site was to apply the non-experimental design in view that not will manipulate any data, what was done was to review existing information and applied the rules of standards from the W3C for the design of the prototype. However, in the analysis of results is evaluated with automatic tools such as TAW, OAW and Functional Accessibility Evaluator 2.0, in addition to the criterion of an web developer that I offer assistance specialized in the diagnosis of the site. Finally concludes that the results of research instruments allowed to obtain the degree of conformity of the website according to the opinions of the people involved determining the specific information for improvements in the design of the prototype, was also evaluated at the web site of the radio using automatic tools, indicating the TAW tool to provide the greatest number of errors and warnings found in the evaluation also managed to design a new prototype based on the results of research instruments and according to good practices in the process of evaluation of automatic tools, also implemented the necessary technologies in web design to develop a site friendly, attractive and understandable to the user meeting the W3C guidelines, also used the software program free as it is NVDA as proposal for people with high rate visual disability, provided in this way an efficient and guaranteed site for the user.
