Abstract
La presente investigación se llevó a cabo en tres sitios de la costa Ecuatoriana y en la finca experimental “La María” perteneciente a la Universidad Técnica Estatal de Quevedo (UTEQ), situado en el km 7 de la vía Quevedo – El Empalme. Se evaluaron las características morfométricas y además se realizaron análisis físicos-químicos, con los siguientes tratamientos: (T1) Rio Quevedo con 60 ejemplares (guanchiches); (T2) Rio Babahoyo con 60 ejemplares (guanchiches), (T3) Represa Daule Peripa con 60 ejemplares (guanchiches). Se utilizó un Diseño Completamente al azar (DCA), con tres tratamientos y diez repeticiones que tuvo seis peces. Las variables evaluadas fueron: peso en gramos, longitud total, longitud estándar, longitud de la cabeza, longitud predorsal, longitud preanal, longitud de mandíbula superior, altura de base de aleta caudal, diámetro de ojo. Se utilizó 180 guanchiches, con un peso promedio de 250 gr. En la variable de peso en gramos si se encontró diferencias significativas entre los tratamientos según la prueba de Tukey (p<0.05), el tratamiento que mayor peso en gramos promedio tuvo fue el (T3) con 470 gr, mientras que la longitud total promedio lo obtuvo el (T1) con 29,54. En la variable longitud preanal no hay diferencias significativas entre los tratamientos según la prueba de Tukey (p>0.05). En la variable longitud estándar tampoco se encontró diferencias significativas entre los tratamientos según la prueba de Tukey (p<0.05), el tratamiento que presento mayor longitud de la mandíbula superior fue el (T3) con 1,99cm y el de menor longitud de la mandíbula superior fue el (T2) con 1,30. En la variable longitud predorsal si se encontró diferencias significativas entre tratamientos según la prueba de Tukey (p<0.05),
Description
The present investigation was carried out in three sites of the Ecuadorian coast and in the experimental farm "The Maria" belonging to Quevedo State Technical University (UTEQ), located at km 7 of the Quevedo - El Empalme road. Morphometric characteristics were evaluated and physical-chemical analyzes were performed, with the following treatments: (T1) Rio Quevedo with 60 specimens (guanchiches); (T2) Rio Babahoyo with 60 specimens (guanchiches), (T3) Daule Peripa dam with 60 specimens (guanchiches). A Completely Random Design (DCA) was used, with three treatments and ten replications that had six fish. The variables evaluated were: weight in grams, total length, standard length, head length, predorsal length, preanal length, upper jaw length, caudal fin base height, eye diameter. We used 180 guanchiches, with an average weight of 250 gr. In the weight-in-grams variable, if significant differences were found between treatments according to the Tukey's test (p <0.05), the treatment with the highest weight in grams average was the (T3) with 470 grams, while the average total length (T1) with 29.54. In the variable preanal length there are no significant differences between treatments according to the Tukey test (p> 0.05). In the standard length variable there were no significant differences between treatments according to the Tukey's test (p <0.05), the treatment with the highest upper jaw length was the (T3) with 1.99cm and the shortest length Upper jaw was the (T2) with 1.30.
