Abstract
El presente trabajo se realizó en la finca San Antonio del recinto La Laguna del Cantón Ventanas, Provincia de Los Ríos, cuyas coordenadas geográficas son S 1° 26´ 34” y W 79°26’54”, a una altura de 27 msnm, con una duración de 120 días. Se empleó un Diseño Completamente al azar (DCA) con 4 tratamientos, con una parcela de (9,00m/0,30m). Se planteó como objetivo general evaluar diferentes sustancias nutritivas en el cultivo de pepino (Cucumis sativus L.), en sustrato de viruta de madera más arena de rio.Las variables evaluadas fueron porcentaje de germinación, altura de la planta, a los 15, 30, 45 y 60 días, días a la floración, días a la cosecha, numero de fruto por planta, longitud del fruto, diámetro del fruto, rendimiento por tratamiento, rendimiento por ha-1, en kg y análisis económico. El tratamiento T4 (NPK), es el mejor en porcentaje de germinación, con media de 98,05%. El menor valor para esta variable es para el tratamiento T1 (Evergreen), cuyo valor fue: 97,75%. En la variable altura de la planta y pH no existió significancia estadística entre los tratamientos. En las variables longitud y diámetro del fruto existió diferencias significativas entre las medias de los tratamientos siendo superior estadísticamente el tratamiento T4 (NPK) a los demás tratamientos con promedios de 19,98 cm y 9,89 cm respectivamente. Los menores valores en estas variables fue para el tratamiento T1 (Green máster), cuyos valores en su orden fueron: 18,60 cm y 9,06 cm. El tratamiento que presentó el mayor rendimiento por parcela y por ha-1 fue T4 (NPK), con 65,58 kg y 75067,74 kg/ha-1 respectivamente. El menor valor en esta variable fue para el tratamiento T1 (Green máster), con media de 51,85 kg y 53080,70 kg/ha-1 en su orden correspondiente. El que obtuvo el mayor ingreso y mejor relación costo/beneficio fue el T4 (NPK) con $63,90; y 1,40; en su respectivo orden. Los menores valores en estas variables fue para el tratamiento T1, cuyos valores en su orden fueron: $18,49 y 1,12.

This work was done in the San Antonio farm enclosure windows La Laguna del Canton, Province of Los Rios, whose geographical coordinates are S 1 26' 34 "W 79 ° 26'54", to a height of 27 meters, with a duration of 120 days. Design was used totally at random (DCA) with 4 treatments, with a plot of (9,00m / 0,30m). He was raised as a general objective to evaluate different nutrients in the cultivation of cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) wood chip substrate over river sand. This variables evaluated were germination percentage, plant height, at 15, 30, 45 and 60 days, days to flowering, days to harvest, number of fruit per plant, fruit length, fruit diameter, yield per treatment, yield per ha-1 kg and economic analysis. The T4 (NPK), treatment is best germination percentage, half of 98,05%. The smallest value for this variable is for T1 (Evergreen) treatment, whose value was: 97.75%. Significant differences existed between treatment means being statistically superior T4 (NPK) treatment to other treatments averaging 19.98 cm and 9.89 cm respectively in the variable length and diameter of the fruit. The lowest values in these variables was for treatment T1 (Green master), whose values in their order were: 18.60 cm and 9.06 cm. This treatment had the highest yield per plot and ha-1 was T4 (NPK), with 65.58 kg and 75067.74 kg / ha-1 respectively. Goodwill on this variable was for treatment T1 (Green Masters), with an average of 51.85 kg and 53080.70 kg / ha-1 in the correct order.
